NTK Lab grade sensor made of inconel and Ti with additional machining to the hex to reduce weight - there is also only 2.5 turns of thread engagement on the sensor, again to reduce weight. Current stocked price is £1800 before discount. It is the be all and end all of Lambdas though :)
We do them circa £2.5K fitted with all lines, tanks etc.
Mods required include gearbox adaptor, machining the block to remove the lower boss, plugging original feed galley, modifying new stock waterpump to FR spec, Alternator mount, Oil cooler take off etc. etc. Quite a lot of work! We do the...
Exactly the opposite really, aim is a totally flat 190ftlbs from 2000RPM to 7200RPM which will give approx 260bhp but with absolute reliability for several 10's of thousands of KMs. Dry sump not only helps ensure oiling on long corners like Gerrards but also allows 12L oil capacity so plenty...
In short dry sumped 736/774 hybrid F4R with Megane 230 turbo, ARP fasteners throughout, ACL bearings, cryogenically treated 774 Rods, 774 Pistons with coated skirts, vernier inlet cam pulley, DBW throttle, smattering of F1 sensors and a couple of other bits and bobs :)
Nope as that's right on the edge of tolerance. Should be 3.3ohm as that's the resistance of the firing circuit. The SRS monitors this resitance to check the bag/SRS device is in working condition. You need a low tolerance 3.3ohm resistor. Just order a few from Farnell or RS.
Large capacity alloy PAS tank with deaireator is £130 + VAT, includes bleed off tube and is a direct replacement onto standard hoses (you just need to shorten one slightly to account for the deeper res height) . Our grid girl is not included I'm afriad ;)

Yes software is free. All you need for comms with the ECU is a CAN Interface. Any will work by ours at £89 is the cheapest out there and of course preconfigured for EC. Plug in, click connect, click download...

Some techy engine info:
- Total engine run time off idle = 9hrs 37 mins
- Total engine run time above 6000RPM = 2hrs 12 mins
- Peak engine speed recorded = 7989RPM
- Peak engine oil temperature = 122 degrees...
I really need to put some work into that S2000 plenum at some point as I have the carbon trumpets, backplate etc. all here waiting. Like your RS2 project, some day ;)
Don't mind the Honda into Clio plan at all! One of the chaps at Jabba is currently 20V'ing his Cup. I can confirm a 4G63 fits as...
I had a Quaife close ratio kit in mine which solved the gear related failures but propogated a number of cracked gearbox casings instead LOL I've chilled out and gone off mega boost turbo engines as I've got older, I think it's because I've got less time to keep them or the gearboxes attached to...
Cone filter out the bonnet? ;) Acquiring nearly suitable bits from other things is satisfying isn't it!
I still need to find time to graft something up with this:
One of our old S2000 plenums. It was good enough for 287bhp back in the day so it should go well once crammed into the engine...
Bit more effort went into your plenum shape than ours though by the looks of things, our primary design requirement for that was how can we quickly tig it up from some flat sheet and not intrude too much on a straight run from throttle to plenum ;) It's all Jenvey stuff in the one above, boggo...
If the rules say "you must retain the standard throttle body and air filtration/delivery system" then turning up with a plenum/inlet that's entirely fabricated, complete with pulse tuning plates and with the standard throttle body and airbox plonked on the end probably will result in a protest...
We've done lots of tank in boot setups on the race car and to be honest it shouldn't smell of fuel that much ;) . ATL Super Saver cell or similar either pump or gravity fed to a swirl pot, then main pressure pump to rail. If running aftermarket control then consider converting to a dead end rail...
No it's not. Any of the ABS cars have 4 wheel speed sensors so you simply calculate the median of those 4 values and use that as vehicle speed. Very accurate and provides multiple backup for sensor failures against loss of vehicle speed.
172 Cup for a track car would be my advise unless you're doing a from scratch build. You essentialy get a free air con delete kit with a Cup ;)
Map and a decat will see it making what it says on the back of the car. 172's generally make 164 - 169bhp, 182's 166 - 173. They were a bit more...
As said 240bhp is expensive! We do an off the shelf 240bhp package but it's specificaly aimed at race cars, ex FR2.0's running in French Hillclimb etc. This comprises of 240 spec cylinder head with single piece valves, new lifters, new rockers, PAC springs, TDF Steel rods with ARP fasteners, TDF...
For track use throttle bodies are perfect and uber reliable! Supercharged cars are brilliant point and squirt road cars though.
On our throttle kit with 421 cams you'll see over 210bhp and 170ftlbs. With ARP rod bolts we run a 7800RPM rev limiter (if its a stock engine then we don't go above...

I love the fact that the only criticism in the whole thread is because we haven't posted enough pictures of it! Busy dev week on it next week but I'll get a few of the floors, gear gate etc etc
