fin & good luck :boring:
are you sure you've removed all of it? the bush is bonded to a steel outer which needs pressing out - you should only be left with the alloy arm. other than that, may be the bushes are the wrong size; should be a simple push fit
mine's a daily and has the full set. it doesn't bother me at all, although i think it depends what you're used to. have you run anything with uprated mounts before?
have you got a Haynes manual? it's in there; assume it's the same servo on all models?
hopefully it's a hose rather than the servo itself as, likewise, think it'd be hard work to renew
reading again, does seem more likely to be a hydraulic problem
if it is the m/c, i'd not use a cheap pattern part personally
ed. see if Renault do a seal kit
it is usually possible to dismantle a m/c and renew the seals, but it doesn't look all that easy to get at to remove on these
i'd have a go at re-bedding the pads and hope it's that to start with. i'd be well unimpressed with your mate if he's trashed the m/c. just a guess, but would have...
i'd rather a used factory car than a kit, although would want to use it alot and assume the miles would knock resale badly. it is surprising, how well they hold their value
probably looking at £120+ for all four mounts and 2-3hrs labour to fit
you'd need a trolley jack to take the weight of the engine - don't need a crane/etc
the poly dogbone doesn't vibrate at all and the KTEC mounts aren't that bad for the control they have. decent compromise is poly dogbone + std everything else
the engine mounts are fairly soft to begin with and it worsens with age; there are also a few other things that develop, which don't help (like the upper gearbox mounting bolt working loose). if they're all original, best bet's just in renewing them all and possibly uprating some. loads on search
not clued up either, but would have thought it's worth 2k, even with the mileage? i'd try whole, anyway, as breaking takes ages and there's the chance you'll not see the money
