What forums would you guys suggest to generate some interest on a set of Bang & Olufsen speakers I have for sale? Beoworld is too complicated to post a for sale ad?
Link to eBay ad if anybody on here is interested, at least http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=181226844308
Hello Jack, I'm good thanks, you?
I've been told far too many times it was priced too low, but I was happy with it being a quick sale (12hrs, 8 of I which I was sleeping for!). Hopefully still see you around though :-)
And it's now sold :-) a fellow car enthusiast came around to buy it for his girlfriend (he had a Cayman R, tuned Caterham 7 and an MX5), and they plan to take it to the Nurburgring in a couple of weeks. Very jealous!
This is going to sound ludicrous, but have you called the mechanic who changed the cambelt? He might be able to offer his services by getting someone out to you. You will have just paid a fair amount to him and if he has a reputation to uphold surely won't be requiring you to drive your car out...
It was advertised quite expensively but if I recall I did get the price down a bit. It was over 3years ago now so I wouldn't be able to put an exact figure on it, but I'd say it was £100/150? Well worth it, it's more chunky than the original and slightly smaller in diameter - cruise control...
Unfortunately not. I'd prefer to have the car on standard Cup wheels to help a quick sale, but I quite like the OZ F1's so hope somebody else does too. Good luck with your search though :-)
Haven't had a chance to post any pictures of the F1's I got refurbed since they've been on the car, but here's a couple I got today in the nice sunshine we've had :-)
Also, the car's now up for sale, so if you're interested check it out...
It was a Yozzasport yes, was it not that loud? My girlfriend (who was in the car) complains about it around town/motorways, but said it made sense on a road like that and for once sounded "okay"!
Great road, only found it recently though when my friend took me up there - wish I'd said hello to...
Came up to Holme Moss mast and saw you in the car park along with an Octavia, CTR and Corsa. You had CS'11 stickers in the window so I assumed you were on here. Would have popped out to say hi but it was freezing!
Good drive back down later on though, hope you didn't mind me cutting up your...
Correct, if you want a laquer or metallic finish add 50% on to the final price, so £22.50 p/wheel (+vat).
From what I've seen already the finish is brilliant and lasts well, so for the price they get some great reviews!
Another thread regarding the wheels I recently purchased, but an entirely different question so I feel it needed it's own.
I purchased the wheels with one of them having a slight buckle which had been balanced out with weights, but with the idea of getting them refurbed before putting them on...
I did notice that two were slightly different - brilliant, thanks! I might see if the newer style ones can be purchase from Renault still, as they look a bit more sturdy than the ones with the wire backing :-)
I've just purchased a set of OZ F1's (thanks Bobby!) which I'm getting refurbished, and was wondering if the diamonds on the centre caps are chrome like most of the other Renault alloy wheels? Obviously you can't remove the diamonds separately like you can with the 182 wheels, so I'd have to...
Should have updated this thread - I got a new metal ring and crimped it on, simple task but you've not got a lot of room in that engine bay to trim wires!
All working now anyway, thanks for your replies :)
I was driving back from filling my car up last night, and after starting the engine the 'stop' light and 'battery' came on. Knowing how temperamental these warning lights can sometimes be, I drove on. I dropped off my friend and turned the engine off, and after leaving it for a few minutes went...
I asked the very same question, and although they couldn't give me a straight answer, they did give me a form with all the rules and regulations on it. I imagine because you only need a certain width from the edges, you could probably get away with it being 'slimmed down,' but it'll still...
