Was a good day and some great cars there. The green Focus RS sounded brilliant and the flames from the Evo at end was mad.
Hopefully next time round I'll have a car to bring.
I'll let you know Christopher lol
That would have been Lisa, I'm not on there mate.
It's had a re-map, BMC filter and the backbox removed.
From a standing start at 30mph both cars in 2nd the 500 pulls two car lengths then slowy edges away. My excuse is the Clio's out of the powerband but...
I'm always joking with the girlfriend about that. Shame the 500 blows me away in gear :( ...until we get to a corner and it's silly hazard lights start flashing under heavy braking lol
No the offset of the OZ wheels are ET55 instead of the standard ET68
With the Speedine's on the inside of the wheel scrubs the arch liner after one full turn of the wheel. When the tyres are finished on them I'm going to sell them and get different road wheels or use the OZ's as the road wheels...
Cheers for the comments. I only have those wheels on for trackdays but they're the reason I never made the rolling road day...it snowed the night before lol.
Done quite a bit to it,
AP Racing Bells & Rotors, braide lines and DS2500
OZ Ultraleggera wheels
AST Sportline II with solid...
I've not posted much on here since I signed up but though I should really start to as I went along to the Scottish rolling road day at Extreme and only knew a couple of people.
We never managed to get the Clio there which was a shame. Though our little 500 done us proud with 169bhp and...
Yeah John and George are sound, some of you should try and get to the next Livingston Auto Parts trackdays at Knockhill next year to see their Evo in action. It blew a boost hose coming to the first corner last time we were there and came off the first corner at 150mph
I'm still gutted I...
Yeah a 1.4tubo, it's a cracking little engine. They turbo can be upgraded with the Putno's turbo for 210bhp and 450nm but it's probably a bit to much for the car.
I'll take 'reet' as a compliment ;) lol
Our wee 500 surprised us with the torque !
Gutted I couldn't get the Clio out the drive but it was a great day.
It made 169 bhp and 207lbft (280nm)
Loved the Focus RS
My Clio might not make it (stupidly changed the wheels over for Knockhill on Sunday, which doesn't look likely lol) but we'll deaf be there with the 500.
We wont be at the showcase either but we'll see you all at extreme.
We'll be at the showcase for 8.00, unless it snows as my track wheels will be on for Knockhill on Sunday. The Toyo's aint to clever with greasy roads never mind slushy ones.
The 27th is fine for us.
There wont be a hassle with FWD 4WD RWD they'll take all the FWD first then the rollers slide at the touch of a button to whatever's groups next.
Keep your hands of the sound proofing on the walls though, exhaust smoke is stuck to some of it...I learned the hard way...
Good mate, it'll be good to see what Lisa's wee 500 makes on the rollers.
Speaking of brakes after that day my pads only had a bawhair of life left in them...wonder why ;)
Noddie put this up on 197.net so I've added my name to the list. Just to let everyone know when we organised one for Extreme you got two runs for your £35.
Falkland - £25 per car - Glenrothes
