To be OBDII compliant vehicles need both the plug AND the ECU software protocol to meet the required standards. The ECU software (in my case) isn't compatible and it doesn't respond correctly to the OBDII device's interrogations.
Vehicles in Australia didn't have to be compliant until January...
Ironically, I've got the full version of that software and it doesn't work with my 182. The guy who writes the software actually lives in Australia and it was him who helped me verify that my 182 isn't OBDII compliant.
I don't if an Aussie car that's been reflashed with something like an...
Do some data logging on the RSTuner from a cold start. You'll quite likely see huge jumps in the temp readout on the data log- I discovered mine was stuffed after noticing strange temp fluctuations (I had no idea beforehand and it was rare to actually see the temp gauge itself spike.)
It was...
Just do the rears only. I ran Spax adjustables on the front of my old 306S16 with the rears stock; and stock fronts with rear Konis on my old MondeoST24.
It will have an effect on the handling (similar to when you change tyre brands) but won't be the least bit dangerous.
Mr Pea, you could run into issues with our Aussie Clios running different ECU software to the UK versions. I know the UK 182 owners seem to have more success with the generic scanners than I ever have had with my 182.
I'm running ET37 15x7" rims on my 182 FF Cup with 205/50R15 tyres. Suspension is stock height and I don't get any rubbing.
(You might with passengers in the rear when pushing it hard - I haven't had it fully loaded.)
Eucalyptus oil (if you can buy it in the UK?)
Works wonders on removing silicone and the sticky stuff left behind from decals etc. My father inlaw used it to remove silicone from his new Mazda and said it got it off in no time. I used it to remove the stripes off my RSC, just wash it off with...
Larger mufflers will keep it quieter.
With pipe that size and no resonator I reckon it most likely be loud and have droning issues.
You'll also need to mod your cat outlet if you want 2.5" all the way.
Plug some figures into this site http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp - you will need rim widths (as mentioned earlier) to get any meaningful answers.
I changed my 182 Cup from stock 16" rims to 15" with 205/50R15 tyres.
Initial turn in is a bit slower (as you'd expect) but the handling is actually better in tight corners. Ride is better and I find the rear end is less likely to want to "step out" over mid corner road imperfections.
Out...
The factory speakers have the simplest "crossover" possible - a series bipolar capacitor wired on the rear of the tweeter. The door speaker gets fed the full frequency range.
Decent component speaker will have a separate crossover module that will need to be wired in. This will divide the...
They help centralise the wheel and I've also read the vehicle weight is supposed to be supported by the hub, not the studs (but if you saw how puny some spigot rings are you'd think that perhaps isn't so critical!)

I'm well over 26 and hate loud "look at me" exhausts that reverberate inside the vehicle. The RS192 is no louder than stock at steady cruising speeds and never causes resonance inside the cabin.
My 182 was made in May 2005 and I replaced my Exaltos late last year - they'd only covered 18000km. A friend bought them off me and is using them currently on his 172. They didn't have any signs of cracking (but the vehicle is garaged.)
Have you tried going to an auto electrician rather than a Renault dealer? They might be able to help with fitting an inline fuse (something in the 100 -120 Amp range would be my guess?)
Do you do a lot of short trips? Mine logged an O2 fault after I had moved it in/ out of the garage a few times without driving it a decent distance. I cleared the fault and it hasn't come back. Perhaps take it for a long drive and drive it hard once fully warmed up.
PS: The not wanting to rev...
What about a 12v one that plugs into the lighter socket or hooks directly to the car battery? Shentai (Chinese company) make one that's very powerful and cheap to buy. Heaps of people who own them rave about how good they are - do a bit of Googling...
I found they were an odd size Festoon bulb. I ended up buying some off Ebay and managed to "squeeze" them into the stock holder. Sorry, but I can't remember exactly what size bulb I bought.
Yes, I hate loud exhausts. The RS192 is perfect and doesn't sound any louder than the stock system at constant cruising speeds. It is louder when accelerating (and at idle) but never "look at me" loud or boomy inside the cabin.
