As for the key, check the circuit board connections first before paying Renault for a new key mate.....bit of solder and you might be laughing :)
Yeah I reckon it will still be every where tomorrow especially when it's still coming down now thick and fast!!
Dont worry mate I am thinking the same thing, even though the battery is max 2 years old I will see how this works out and then consider buying a new battery
Cheers mate, unfortunately the weather has stopped me from getting out there and driving the car so I am waiting until I can take it out before attempting to get it sorted.....hopefully tomorrow evening if the snow has melted enough
Cheers guys. Once the car is started and jump leads put away I will go out for a drive so will only be idling for a few mins. Plus I will only do it if I know I can go for a drive what with this weather.
Do you know if the alarm will need to be switched off once power is being given to the...
Went to unlock the car tonight the car was not unlocking so I tried my spare key encase it was the key battery and still no joy.....
Plan of attack tomorrow when I have light is;
1) unlock car manually with the key in the lock
2) gain access to the battery
3) connect another car to my car
4)...
For the cost of less than £10 and with him saying his fan never worked either, he may as well buy the relays and give that a go as it may solve 2 issues .... the fuel pump priming and his fan
You should always hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the ignition on.
Have you replaced the black relays mate? You can get these from RSTuner and they are cheaper than Renault parts.

When you turn the ignition on can you hear the fuel pump priming?
If no, then check the 3 identical relays in the engine bay (located in the fuse housing to the right of the battery), one of them is your fuel relay. Swap them around and see if this helps.
Also check your fuses in the same area...
Would it not just be easier to save as many copies of the document based on the number of pages you are seperating, then simply delete the pages you don't need in each one..... e.g. save 10 copies, 1st copy keep 1st page and delete the other 9, 2nd copy delete 1st page and keep 2nd page then...
Open the key up and check for broken solder connections. May just be a case of resoldering and all is good again, otherwise it's an expensive trip to renault for a new key.
Always enjoy the sessions at Buckmore mate. We did 2 sessions to get practice in for the race in September. My 1st ever time in a kart was only 3 months ago and I have been 5 times lol
Not sure why because it's the same shape as a ph1 top half and structure differences lol. If you lived closer I would say to pop round and test fit the ones I have before buying.....
This is the Thule kit I have mate

Very jealous mate, trip sounds awesome!!!
Get a thule roof rack kit and a couple of bike racks from halfords and you will easily fit 2 bikes (either side) and 2 surf boards + roof box in the middle on the roof. Spare wheel could fit in the rear somewhere with the engine lol
Just changed pads and discs all round. Also flushed and replaced the fluid with ATE Blue which you can get from Eurocarparts for £14 per litre and I only needed one. The great thing with it being blue is you can see when the old fluid has been replaced.
The only torque setting is the rear hub...
That would be my one mate. I left along with the Megane and MG.
Did you enjoy your session? I was also in the 1 before so I was shattered after doing 2 30min sessions lol
Cheers for the replies you 3. Will try West Renault on here.
Graham27 - Renault want more because it is a ph1 as they are different... annoying!!
How easy is it to fit? Undo middle heat shield, then how does the cable attach either end?
Cheers
Tel
Passenger one is good but the drivers one has gone. Just going to do the driver's one this time around.
Anybody got the ones from eurocarparts to fit?
Also looking at the ones K-Tech do as they work out cheaper than Renault.... again anybody fitted these or know if they K-Tech use genuine...
There is a couple of guides in the Guides area mate.

Another one in there is the fubarnet one at the top as a sticky
Cheers for the replies all.
Nick172cup - Agree they are overpriced but I really like the pad and it's a shame. They have lasted a few years now, with a few track days and lots of spirited driving, I even have material left on the pads but I need to change the discs and it makes sense to change...

Has anybody tried these? £30 for a set of pads sounds to good true......
If the above turns out to be a no go, has anybody used Ferodo DS performance pads

Hopefully they are the same ones you have but will be black and not brown
Yeah 1 I believe is for the radiator fan speed and the other will be for your fuel pump. The relay board can become corroded to the point where it is easier to make a new connection with the wiring and the relay than to replace the whole thing. The person who done it may have had trouble with...
Completely forgot all about this thread......
Cheers for the info all. Kam Racing yes that's the model code I was thinking about along with the 565.
So really, both need filing down but 565 is a thicker pad so more for your money :)
Fred, how much for pads from yourself?
Cheers

I think it's something to do with your immoboliser because it looks like the red light keeps flashing instead of turning off when starting the car..... have a search on here as there is plenty of threads about this.
You might struggle because the arch of the rear window will make your height space less.
Best thing to do is get the measurements off your friend
Take the parcel shelf out
Then measure the inside of your boot whilst inside the car so that you can get the true height with the boot shut
My guess...
