Hi.
You should get the garage to replace the dogbone mount (under the car between the subframe and gearbox). It is the mount that dampens the forwards/backwards movements of the engine.
I've just replaced mine a couple of weeks ago (for the first time) and the old dogbone mount was in really...
I cant see why it could be dangerous because it is a diesel? A battery is a battery ... Remember to have the diesel car running so the generator produces current.

When an engine is under load, the very high combustion chamber temperatures produced will increase the amount of NOx. The problem was how to reduce it. The answer - the good ol' EGR valve. This was designed to allow...
I think the best standards shocks are Monroe Reflex. I replaced the original ones on my DCI with Sachs Advantage. They are better than standard but there is not a big difference. Then a coilovers would possibly be the answer.
That is not true. The EGR-valve on a Clio 1.5 DCI is very easy to change. I can do it easily and I am not mechanically in any way (computer geek lol :D).
The springs (standard ones) on my DCI 65 were so compressed so it was impossible to do without spring compressors. It would be very dangerous too. There is a lot of force in those springs!
I drive with a KN panel filter in my DCI 65 and I cant feel or hear anything different. Maybe its just me ... But I think the KN is a better filter.
I bought mine so I dont have to pay £10 for a new on for every service. That was the main reason.
Which brand of air filter? KN? Because I drive with a KN panel filter in my DCI 65 and it is as good as the standard one. I cant feel anything different.
I've just done it. You just replace the headlight. The height level adjustment still works. But it means taking of the front bumper to change the headlights.
See the attached pictures.
A Haynes manual would be a good idea.
