I totally agree with Phil.
Target a niche, like say, DJ'ing?
So, you'd want to buy a domain name which will rank well, like say, www.DJsForum.co.uk
You can buy that off me.
I've dabbled in domain names before, but as with everything online, securing a good'un is hard. I ended up buying some nice sounding names, things that people/I could brand up. Had interest in a number of them and most recently sold one which was a direct contact to me from a chap in Germany -...
How you finding it mate?
Mines going to be sold around September/October for when the new bus arrives, will be pretty gutted though tbh, its flying at the minute. A proper machine.
I have a few mates who would in customer service there, so that shouldn't be an issue. My house is only a stones throw from the exchange, so regardless of who I opt to go with, the speeds should be pretty consistent.
FIngers crossed.
Hi, ended up going for the TalkTalk option.
£10 a month + line rental.
£50 voucher online.
£40 cashback through quidco.
Winner.
If I find im missing sky sports etc, I can always add it as a bolt on I suppose.
I'm located nearby to the exchange which is handy, I do fancy Virgin but I think Sky's tv service is better.
A mate of mine works at TalkTalk and he thinks that Youview is pretty decent, it's cheap too.
Just about to move in to my own place and need to get my TV/broadband sorted.
Interested to see which options people have, ideally I'd like sky (just for theF1) but I don't want to pay their prices, some of my mates have friends and family discount but unfortunately I don't know anyone at Sky...
Nah dude, I love the GP, its been faultless. Just passed its MOT with no advisories, it had a hard trip out to the the ring a month or so back too.
Just bought a house and it needs totally renovating throughout, need the money out of the GP if I want to go in and do a propper job of it.
Going...
I've had a look at few of the options.
The most important thing for me will be customisation, and its ease. Magento seems to tick my boxes, but its proving difficult for me to get used to a new platform.
Do you have an example of the sites you work with?
I'm after creating something which looks like this, ish. Minimalistic etc.. Would something like this need to be totally bespoke?

Afternoon all,
I have built websites before using basic HTML, CSS, jQuery and snippets of PHP.... but I have never created a fully fledged eCommerce site. Ive done some research and come to the conclusion that Magento is best suited to my needs/what people recommend. However, I am very picky...
I was amazed at how good it was on there, bags of grip.
Cant rate the tyres enough either, Goodyear Eagle F1's. Had them put on just before I went, they were incredible in the wet, damp and dry.
Couple of pictures from my recent trip to the ring with Dave and Ben off here. I have got a video too which I will upload shortly and get a bit of a write up done.
It was my second time there, the last shot was taken first thing in the morning. It is a stunning place...
It looks a pretty solid weld to be fair. If/when it goes I will be getting a manifold and full system more than likely.
There have been plenty if these welds go, seemed to be hit and miss on the quality when they came from the factory.
The repairs have started already... LOL. I <3 MINI.
Found a crack in my exhaust by one of the welds, it was blowing. The garage have welded it up for me.
Also experiencing a wobble under braking, down to a suspected warped disc. I'm going to the to Nurburgring tomorrow, so its going back to...
