    That looks to me like it goes onto a stud on the gearbox pal, look around where the n/a shaft goes into the box, that area there should be a stud that takes a 13mm nut!

    CV boot failed after 15k miles!

    For £150 it would of been a reconditioned / service exchange item. There never as good IMO once changed, the boots aren't as good quality on them. i have seen them fail earlier than that, had to pay to replace one ourselves as it was just out of warranty! :(

    The cat has collapsed in the exhaust! Get it sorted, mine did it, blocked the exhaust and it stopped many many years ago! For ease if you can, disconnect the exhaust as close to the mani as you can and take it for a quick spin, will be sill loud but you should notice a power improvement. :)
