Does anyone have any idea what this clip is posted in the link, and can i get them from Renault. Part codes would be nice or the name of it if anyone can help.
Hi
I have a problem with my passenger seat. The seat will not lock back into place anymore after letting someone in and out the back seat. So now the seat just slides up and down the rails freely. I have found a little metal piece under the seat but not sure were it came from. Any ideas anyone...
I have a similar problem, but my seat will open up but it will not lock back into place. So if I have to break hard, the seat slide up the runners (scares the crap out of you the first couple of times).
My wireing loom cost about £100 to buy a new one, but fitted it my self. Also I had all these problems as well. Also try checking the MAP sensor, and I also took the throtle body out and cleaned it. Worth getting it on diagnostics to make sure what the problem is before spending alot of money.
If I'm honest, i had me tea just after finishing the paint work, and i cant be arsed to go back out and sort the trim. Will do that tomorrow when I start on the inside
My car has recently been stuttering when I accelerate. It like the enginee is revving more then seems to stop for a second then carry on again. Does this is first second and third.
Any idea of what i will need to check.
Cheers
My mate has a problem with his clio rear door. It will not open from the outside, but it will open if you open it from the inside. Any ideas of what to look for when i take the door card off.
Cheers
Could be a few things to be honest. I had a similar problem a few times. I need a new wireing loom as that was shaffted. Not sure if that a common fault with the 1.6. Also i cleaned out the throttle body which worked and never had the problem again.
For some reason the Clio's clutch is heavy. I few of my friends who have drove my 1.2 16v have said the same thing. I have had my car 4 years now and never had to have a new clutch.
I thinks is just they way it is mate
My mate did the belt for me last time, so he would still have the kit i assume, just get a new belt then, if its the pump that is shaffted. Cheers for the help. Will let you all know what is was tomorrow when its pressure tested
is that including a new Cam Belt. Thing I dont get (so excuse my ignorance here) As its a new Cam Belt, why can that not go back on. I assume it has to be destroyed to get to the pump or something.
lol, not good at all. How much did that cost you then. Hope it lasts through today and tomorrow till i know for sure whats wrong with it. I think its the water pump, or that is what i am hopeing for anyway
I have the same problem, I have a thread open in the engine section. Take a look there to see what people have said. My car is getting pressure tested tomorrow so i will let you know what the out come is with mine
Had a look last night and i dont think its the head gasket. Cant see any water dripping out anywhere. Must be a slow leak. My mate is going to pressure test it tomorrow to see what the problem is. Lets hope nothing to serious
I seem to be losing water from my water tank, but i can see no visable leaks. Whats the worse case senario on gettting this fixed (price wise). The cam belt has been changed recently so if a new water pump is needed will i need to get a new cambelt.
Yeah, it not a 5 min job but can be done with taking it to a garage. I managed to do mine. Just a pain in the ass in some places. When you take one plug out, stick the new one in. Just take your time
Mine just pulled off. No need for anything really. I remember thinking its a crap anti tamper device if you can just lift it off. I would suggest putting it in the bin before it does some major damage like mine did. New wireing loom was needed.
I had to buy a new wireing loom as the Map sensor was picking up wrong info. Wireing loom had exposed wires from the stupid metal block renault put on it. Also i cleaned my throttle body which helped loads
