You can't generalise. Some older drivers are atrocious as are some younger drivers along with a fair number in between!!!
I've followed a pair of girls so busy chatting away they were crawling along the slip road from the M25 to the M11 at 50mph, I've had middle aged mums in A classes pull out...
I 've seen the video and it looks very good. I just spoke to Greenlight and they said it's great for stopping smash and grabs. My only fear is that they'd try hard to get in if the window didn't smash!?!?!?
Having been a victim of crime and 'seeing' how easy it is to break a car's windows I'm thinking about getting something like Supa Glass but I'm wondering if there's any point?
Yes it means you can hit the window with a baseball bat and it won't explode but doe's that put a thief off or will...
I had a couple of gripes with the 9850. The fact that if your search always starts at 'A' and that you can't jump to a letter, you have to scroll through everything.
If they've addressed that in the newer units then I'll look to get one!
Having had my 9850 stolen (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=222091) what should I replace it with. I only listen to my iPod of the radio so the 9881 (9850s replacement) is an obviously choice. Anything else I should consider?
It looks like the CDE-9850Ri has been discontinued and I can't see another Alpine head unit with the same 'full speed' integral iPod functionality, other than the £350 DVA-9861Ri!?!?!
I always leave the front panel on. Unless you take it with you they know it's either in the glove box or under the seat and if it's not their there's a chance they'll turn the car over to find it!
They are in and out it my guess? The crime scene guy showed me how they smashed the window; a small flat bladed screwdriver in the towards the bottom of the left hand side of the window. One sharp whack and the window explodes!!!!
As one of the guys was saying it the other pointed it out... A...
Got to the station this evening to find No. 99 with it's driver's door window smashed and my head unit gone!
Police came and photographed it, dusted for prints and took samples of the foot print on the seat. Luckily there's no body work damage and they didn't open the glove box to the see the...
I love the way people cry 4x4 the minute 'pollution' is mentioned. I bet the larger percentage of 'Chelsea Tractors' are Diesel and probably fall in lower bands than the RenaultSports!!!!
My issue with vehicles like that is simply that most of them are owned by people with no awareness, little...
Life is too short for that! In my experience no matter how empty the car park and how far away from humanity you park, someone will always park next to you!
As for writing down number plates etc... to what end? The police are hardly going to drop everything because K743 YHR was parked next to...
The original question is absolutely pointless as there are so many variables! Visibilty, camber, incline, road width, conditions, time of day, length of corner etc...
If you can see safely through a corner and the conditions are good then you can attain a greater cornering speed than if it's a...
Why would a company that specialises in industrial lubricants decide to make a car wax and then think, hang on, this might be good on the blades in a saw mill!?!?!?
That for me is where these products fall down, how does the Teflon 'bond'? It can only be bonded to materials under intense heat and pressure!
How do you take the material with the lowest surface friction of any substance on the planet and make it stick to something!?!?
At room temperature...
As far as I can see Interflon has nothing to do with DuPont other than the fact that they use DuPont's Teflon in a product designed for industrial saw mills and print shops!!!!
I don't know why Cusco Kid wouldn't just say "I'm selling Interflon's Wax Spray + Teflon" it'd have saved him a whole...
A friend of mine has a PS3 that he brought back from Singapore! The console is very nice and in some instances the graphics are exceptional, but not a huge leap over the 360.
It's hugely expensive and the controller is cr&p! No feedback, too small and feels quite flimsy!
The main things for me...
