detailR in Milton Keynes? Not too far from Coventry.

    Auto finesse aqua coat

Nope, no bad residues, streaks or spots :) The bad reviews have come from user error - I've seen the same with the CarPro and Bouncer's versions too. The slightest mist over a panel and pressure wash straight off is all you need to do. There's no need to soak the whole panel as the product...

    Auto finesse aqua coat

Yep, I use it quite often. Spray onto a panel and pressure wash it off. You barely need to use any product either. It's still going strong on one car it was applied to 3 months ago.

I've been using it for a while. I've got it in the spray bottle the Auto Smart guy gave me with it, with the red trigger.

    E92 ///M3 enhancement

Great work :) I love the E92. I worked on one a little while ago and had to convince myself not to buy it, haha.

    Ricardos LY RS Clio

Yep, it's me :) I don't have a set price as everything is done to the needs of the owner/car. Drop me a message if you like and I can help you out from there :)

    Ricardos LY RS Clio

@Ricardos brought his cool little Renault Sport Clio came over from South End to Milton Keynes for an Enhancement Detail - single stage machine polish - to give the paintwork a boost and get some nice protection on it. Liquid yellow is one of my favorite automotive colours, it has so many...

Vertool DAS-21E - does anyone use this machine?

I'm on my second one. I offered to try it out over a Rupes for a retailer to see how it copes with daily use. It's really solid. Feels comfortable to use. If you're looking at just one machine, the DAS6 Pro is the one to go for (not Pro+). These big throw machines are intended to be used as a...

    Wheel wax???

Whoops, I wrote it very quickly. I'm using Ceramic Pro Wheel & Caliper now. Amazing 9H permanent wheel coating. It's so resilient to brake dust and general gunk. Even a bust CV joint and a on of grease didn't phase it.

    Wheel wax???

100% recommended a ceramic coating on the wheels. G5 is pretty easy to use. Just make sure the wheels are well prepped and the coating will last a long, long time.

    BG swirlssssssss

Black Gold is a great colour, but it does seem very easy to marr up. I do a fair few of them. Here's a recent Megane. You can't beat machine polishing for bringing the flake out :)

    Interior cleaner which one

An all purpose cleaner is fine for cleaning the plastics. Doesn't need to be automotive specific- Tesco Daisy is a popular choice.

    what wax do people use

I always put the options down to budget and what you expect from a wax. How often would you be happy to reapply it? Do you want something that might add a bit of gloss? How much would you like to spend? I usually recommended Auto Finesse or ODK as nice waxes, just depends on what you're after :)

This would be my advice too. First of all, just wash the car eat lier on in the day. It could just be the condensation making it look a lot worse than it is. Next would be a good prewax cleanser or finishing polish by hand. Super Resin Polish will be up to the job. These spray on rinse off...

Tar removers will be more effective if you loosely dry the area first. They emulsify with water so won't be able to react fully with the bitumen if the panel is wet. Citrus Power is about the only AF product that I don't use. A lot of people swear by it, but I've never found it to be amazing. I...

You'll find most clay bars are the same. Bikt Hanber is good, but as said, it's very tough, especially in the cold. A bowl of hot water helps to keep it malleable. I'm using Buffin Stuff clay now. Switched to I'm in the summer and haven't looked back. I use Megs D114 for lube.

    Ricardo's LY200T

That's a great finish. Love the colour. Did you use anything to protect the wheels? I saw some pictures over on Turbo Renault and was impressed :)

    Air fresheners

Auto Finesse. They seem to last well for me. I don't drive my car that often so I don't really get used to the smell and stop noticing it.

    Plastics - Splitter Refresh

Pretty much. Every time you do it, it releases oils from within the plastics. If you keep doing it, the plastics will become brittle. A good, deep clean of the plastics, apply a dressing and gently warm them and then buff away is about the best way of getting a dressing to last.

Pads for rotary. OR DA kit?

If you're confident using your rotary, there's no need to switch to a DA. The Fin pads are good and work well the a rotary. Shinemate make some handy spot pads, down to 1" with decent backing plates too. Flexipads are worth looking into as well for full size and spot pads. I'm using almost...

That's fine. You don't need to use one. A garden pump sprayer to get a spread of the pre wash on the car, then rinse down after a few minutes with a hose. You'll still pull some surface dirt away. You'll be fine to apply your wax. Just try and do it earlier on before the dew point sets in. You...

I mainly use Auto Finesse. I'm very happy with the results I get from the range. I wouldn't be part of the network if I didn't believe in them :) The only product I don't keep in stock is Citrus Power. Everything else does exactly what I want it to. Super Resin Polish is still a good product...

I agree with the Incredimitt. They really are good. I bought a bunch of them this year. They last a long time, super soft, rinse out easier than wool and carry a decent amount of water over.

It's just something you need to live with. You can put the windows down and give the rubber seals a good clean, but as soon as you put the windows down again, any moisture will just give you the streaks again.
