Well not much has changed with the car but I just completed a 780mile road trip all around the west coast of Scotland and all the way around te Isle of Skye also with two of my brothers. Had a great time and the cars never missed a beat.
So today I took advantage of the nice evening and decided to clean the car.
First off was the wheels and then hit with Blit Hamber Korrosol and sealed afterwards.
After that I done inside the arches. Sadly I didn't realise until I needed it that I'd ran out of Autosmart Tardis Tar and...
Hello everyone I'm Luke and relatively new to the forum.
I thought I would start my own thread on the progress of my little Artic Blue 182.
Small introductions for some of my previous cars I had before the Clio.
And here is my Artic Blue 182
Tidied up the seatbelts...
Unless you manage to snap the easyout too. But if you get it dead centre with a hole punch you should be fine and atleast you will have the kit if it every happens again or if you need it to help out a friend
As above, because you've snapped it tightening it up it now doesn't have the collar to be pulling against the threads for it to be tight. So it should come out easily with easyouts. Shouldn't need a different hub and should be pretty cheap to get it done at the garage or buy the kit yourself and...
Spotted a nice RB 182 and also a nimbus 197/200 with cup spoiler travelling separately up the A90 Aberdeenshire past Fordoun today around 6:45pm. I was travelling south in my blue 182.
Thanks @Marcus_penguin . Really it needs to be painted satin black to look nicer but gloss was all I had lying around. Everything was done with old stuff from in my shed so it cost me nothing.
It's sold now. Advertised it and i recieved a deposit it the same day. Thought it would've taken months to sell so was sort of gutted it went so quickly. Now just running the 182. Good fun and plan to do the nc500 in June with two of my brothers in there 1*2's
Got any fun bits lying around...
I have fancyplates plates on my 182 just now and have just ordered new ones again because I've now got a private reg.
Would've been nice to have come across this before I just spent £32.50 on plates. Will be interesting to see what sort of deal can be made on these.
I know this was a while ago but do you happen to know what size and where you ordered them from?
I have a trophy spoiler on my 182 with shorter trophy struts but I need more room to get in and out of the boot.
Would've loved to come along to this even if it was in the BMW but ill be in London for a friends wedding.
Hopefully i will own a 182 by the time the next one comes around
