M Sport most popular and numerous. 18” wheels, lower & slightly stiffer suspension, better seats, much nicer looking bumpers/skirts etc. The SE looks like an OAP’s car.

Decent 130’s are difficult to find, 3-doors even harder so I’d advise not to limit your search too much or you’ll be waiting forever. 5-doors look much nicer anyway:wink:

They’re winter wheels/tyres so no point, back on its summers now.

Tried both the M135 and then M140 when I was considering changing the 130. Properly quick and a better ride than a standard 130 (mine is now on Bilsteins) but they both left me cold. Very good engines but not special like the N52. Sure I'll end up in one eventually but not until this one has died...

Mine will pass 150k this month and feels like it'll do double that with ease.

31.8mpg (using a fuel app) in my ownership, mostly fast A roads and M'way. It was almost 33 but I use it a bit more around town the last couple of years.

Nice update DB. The relative simplicity of the cabin and lack of pointless “tech” bullshit really appeals to me. Orange dials are retro cool! :cool: Done almost 100k miles in mine and I still absolutely love it - my perfect daily driver.

@deutsche_blonde If you're still undecided on tyre choice, I'd thoroughly recommend Michelin Pilot Sport 4. They don't come in 245/35/18 (yet) but I'm using 235/40/18 on the rear and 225/40/18 front - best size combo I've used on the 130i, and best tyre I've ever used.

Fabulous cars, had mine 5 years and 70k miles. For me there really is nothing for less than £20k could replace it.

Definately something wierd going on with PS3's at the moment. Prices have shot up in the last month, now stock seems to be low. Kicking myself now - I didn't bother ordering four PS3's in August (when they were approx £100 cheaper for a set) after being let down when trying to buy a set of...
