Not seen it before as it had silver wheels so that’s the fourth one in and around the area 😂
Things changed at work so i was offered a fully paid for company car... It comes below my positions bracket so it works out it cost's me nothing at all a month in tax! Bonus!
I had the choice of a new car or have something that's already in the system. Given that I'm looking at a promotion in...
As the title say's really. Mine has to be the old Saxo VTS. The most fun i have ever had in a car! The old girl was on 70k, but she looked brand new and was a minter!
The Mk1 V6 is often slated, mostly by people who have never seen one in real life, saying it dosn't look nice! I think these pictures need no explanation..... I hope the owner dosn't mind!
:star:
As you all should know now, my brother, Newms, sold his V6 to another guy on here and recently brought this to have a play with. I love it! Pictures do it no justice but hey ho!
Please excuse the cut and paste from detailing world!
Here we have my brothers 4 month old purchase. Its a 2005...
I was going to sell the PH1 becuse im spending way to much money on petrol/insurance at the moment where i could be saving for my wedding...
I spent thousands on the clio replacing parts here and there and with todays market it's really not worth selling! Plus i would only buy another one...

Looking back at Subways post i thought i would share my first clio experience. I was 18 at the time back in 2005 when i bought a 12,000, 52 plate Clio Cup! I was over the moon! Like a fake kid in a chocolate shop!
I remember the first time i nailed the throttle! It scared the s**t out of me...
Who would have thought im a detailing fan aye? To many miles this winter and not enough warm weather has left my car looking in a sorry state...
BTW... does the first two pictures prove that the ph1 front end is the best 1*2???
Decided to take my car (ph1 172) from Chelmsford to Bradford for a work's course. 210 miles each way. On the way up there i sat at a steady 60 - 65 mph and was averaging 49mpg. Which was so so so so boaring! So on the way home i sat between 85 and 95 (kph honest officer ;) ) And it returned 40...
I have just found the bolt shown circled jumping about when the engine is running...
Basically it's lost its thread somehow!!! Is the car still safe to drive to a garage or what? :dapprove:
All heading down White Hart Lane, springfield. I was in a hurry so didn't have time to turn around and teach you all a leason ;)

I have only taken the camera out of the box and stuck it on Auto mode. There are so many features! Going to take me a year to figure them all out!
Anyways! Very good camera for the money imo!
Going to have a play all day and see what results i can...

.....The outside is a mess! So just inside picture's for now :rasp: Im detailing the outside next week so look out for part two.
Its been a tough start 172 ownership again lol! But we are getting there. I present one very tidy Ph1 172 :approve:
Not bad for 65k!
..... Cause a "wobble" when accelerating hard at 4.5k upwards to the rev limiter? Not a major wobble but its noticeable and not normal
I know what your thinking - Tracking and the wheels need balancing. Well that’s been done. I did have a wobble at 60mph but that’s gone. Had two new tyres...
Sorry the the step by step right up... I couldnt be bothered to type it all up again so i just copied it from the detailing forum.
I know some of you are fans of these little cars so i thought it might be worth a post
