Thanks GavC, I think the issue lies with the brake switch, as if CC is enabled, and I tapped the brake pedal from underneath it disengaged, meaning its super sensitive to movement.
I'm having intermittent trouble with my cruise control, tried to troubleshoot online but not much information, are the clutch/brake switch linked to the CC system, if so could these be at fault? I've tried adjusting them but still having issues, so units could be faulty?
For the record, speed...
Great watch, enjoyed it all the way through.
font geek alert, its not actually comic sans, its a lot closer to Linotte Semi Bold or a variation of the two, however the '4' and 'x' don't match to the set, so it must be custom.
I'd keep mine standard, bar maybe a decat, 30mm drop, 98ron map, turinis and full stainless system. As these cars get older and older, theres nothing quite like owning a mint example and turning heads in it.
I've owned cars on a budget too, its great to be able to spend what I need on my car...
I bought from the same seller as you, as he offers a years warranty on them, after 4 months one side started to flicker and seemed duller than the other side. I messaged him and he said he would replace them, if I send the faulty one back.. I advised its impractical to send one bulb back, after...
When these inevitably fail like my set did (they don't like heat) and the LED's start flickering, grab yourself a set of these:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0088XET0S/?tag=cliospnet01-21, these are 6000k, or you can get a set of 4000k, they come with 3 years warranty.
I've tried about 6/7 sets...
Just read the following in another post:
renault software 8000
renault cal 7802
-
henks software 8200
henks cal 7804
According to that, its already done.
Yes.. another one of these threads! Sorry guys.
I've received my RSTuner today, and trying to assess wether my car has already been mapped. I've check the obvious things, idle 5k kick etc, but before unlocked the VIN buying the map want to be sure.
below are two screen shots of the software when...
Thanks for the tips guys, I have been eying up the DAS 6 or the DAS 6 pro on CYC. So I'll have a bit of a read up. Still, I'm pretty happy with the finish for saying it was done by hand. Just be nicer to get a deeper cut with the machine, remove some of the harsher scratches rather than just...
Thanks @guysy I'll have to check them out. Hook & Loop for about £10 on Amazon, seem about right? To be fair, I'd like one just to buff the headlights better, I did them by hand too, its not till they are on at night you can still see some minor scratches on the lenses.
I wish the alloys were original too, but at least they're in excellent condition and unkerbed.
I'm off to my mates body shop tomorrow to try some thinners on the front grills. A previous owner had them painted and typically now they're flaking. I'd prefer them standard even if they are a...
Posted a few of these to cliosport on facebook a few days ago, but figured I'd share on here too.
I've been dying to get out and give my 182 a good clean. After moving house, and it being too cold out I've left it to get a bit dirty and grotty. I just wish I had a machine polisher as my arms...
evening, I've noticed over the last few days I've noticed a noise from my tyres. It only happens when turning slightly right at higher speeds.
The noise is a vibrating type noise, I was travelling down hill and knocked the car into neutral to reduce engine/exhaust noise and slightly turned the...
yeah, bit a disappointment to be honest, not a lot going on once you'd had a look around, the Phase 1 V6 with the wheels being cleaned is my brother-in-law, he keeps that in my garage.
Some good photos, thanks for the share.
