A load of us "punto lot" are going up to the Elvington RWYB day, near York on the 24th October. Thought Id post on here and see if there was any interest from the clio lot.

Some of us are staying in a Travel lodge the night before and having a few drinks, the more the merrier really, and then carrying on the last 20 odd miles to Elvington from there.

Let me know if you want to know any other details, I believe there are some bits and pieces about it on the straightliners website as well.

lmfao, well about ten of us have now booked a travel lodge the night before for drinks.

I believe the cost will be £30 for unlimited runs all day, beginning at 9 am.

Hope to see some of you down there, dont be afraid to come and say hello!

Show the Punto boys lol. A likely story! Although I will say the old Valvers dont hang about! Want 1 funnily enough . N e 1 coming 2 Santa Pod on the 31st October, going 2 be a gang of puntos up there!

lol, im only messin with ya mate! altho ill have to say that there are some very suprisingly quick n/a valvers/williams on here what sort of times re u boys running at the mo...???

ill be at pod hopefully on the 31st as well! altho work are trying to get me to work that weekend! boooooo!

The RWYB days at Elvington are bl00dy expensive, I think Ill stick to York dragway which is just round the corner...

Which as it so happens is on Sunday!

Looks like Ill be going to this one then...is it 30 quid to run plus entry, or is that all in?Are they doing Vmax runs as well as 1/4 mile??

Should be a few good times if TimO and the yellow beast and coming down..

There was nitroused drag bike there last time I went..no road bikes though....

its a risk, might be busy! iv seen 2 hour wait between runs before, but also seen no queues!

see how people that go tomorrow report back! im guessing ots gonna be busy tomorro,
