Michelin themed RB 182

This is the result of an idea I had a while back after seeing the design elsewhere on other sites. I haven't seen any radical designs on Racing Blue 182's so I thought this would be a good starting point.

The guys at Threesixty Wraps in Northampton did the work. I think it looks great, much better in person. Sorry for the poor quality of images, weather was awful today and I was in a rush.

Better images tomorrow!!

C&C welcome.

Love that mate . Always wondered what that would look like on a Clio .

I used to have a scalextric with a escort in that wrap . Loved it . I think the other escort was the texico wrap

Thanks for the positive responses everyone.

Exactly right with the cossie design, I thought it looked great then and with the added benefit of already having the blue base colour it was a no Brainer..

I dropped in at Trax at the weekend to see what the fuss is all about. The sense of khaos is insane. Spent a couple of hours watching the drifting and went. I managed to find these pictures taken by others I quite like. Did anyone else go to the event?

Please excuse the ride height and wheel offset, we're not running spacers at the minute so it's a bit all over the place.

I had that set too, the other Escort Cossie was white wasn't it, can't remember the livery though!

That's the one Daz . God knows what happened to my set too !

The texico one I'm on about was my seirra coswoth set I think .

The only set I have now is my scooby and foucus WRC set in the loft from about 2007 I think

How about some Renault turbine wheels in white? They come up quite often and normally cheap. Straight fit and look like a motorsport/pilot cossie wheel a bit.
This is a great idea, I may photoshop a couple of options this week. Is there a Speedline TH Mono in 15's?

Thanks for the positive comments too..

I've been playing with idea of either white wheels - as per the original Escort Cosworth design. Alternatively looking at Tyre writing either in white or yellow to suit.

A couple of rather dodgy photoshop edits below. Personally I quite like the tyre writing...

Thanks for the replies so far.

Have to say the Tyre Writing gets my vote. I'll have a look at doing this at the weekend.

Michelin are not paying for this at all, I've spoken to Michelin UK about this. Purely for the Tyre discounts I hope!

It will certainly be a pure track car. Hope it goes as well as it looks though now.

So this happened today..

Shocking pictures as usual. I'll grab some more over the next week or so.

Personally I think it looks great!
