I never mix tyres tbh, I’m sure it will be fine.

But ideally any new tyres on a fwd car go on the rear, not the front.

Will be fine, been mixed for ages now, and the backs are new enough, when I decide how much I like these I'll either buy 2 more for the back or maybe just new ps3's all round, will see how it goes [emoji5]

Picked up a subframe last week that has black series polybushed inner & outer anti roll bar and wishbones, put it back together today after stripping cleaning and spraying it, gunna do a rear axle to match

Also cleaned up an exhaust for my pals 172 that we did 6 hours of driving for yesterday, came up excellent, mercury metal polish with steel wool then the same polish with an orange pad on the d/a, looks so good [emoji23]

Feel like it's been ages since I've done anything to the clio, subframe and exhaust trims still sitting, now the snows gone ill hopefully be a bit more inclined [emoji23]
Did order a poly centre exhaust hanger which I collected today, and also a carbon fuel cap cover, plenty to do!

Finally some progress! Polybushed subframe on and lookin glorious!! Couple new ps3's for the front to match the back, will keep the rainsport 3s for winter, boot sorted tm so the spoiler doesn't catch, exhaust hanger on and the exhaust finally sits right!! Happy days, got a bit bored of the clio so was thinking about selling up and going for a Meg, but after feeling how well it drives with the polybushed subframe I'm gunna hang onto it and just save up cash, dump it into something for power later on, not a lover of low boost setups so thinking either supercharged or just see if I can pick up a forged engine at some point and make a monster, but time will tell, I'm happy with it just now... I suppose [emoji23]

Got a wash in today and noticed that you can see some gold through the front grill which I love but it's hard to get photos of haha, decided since the cams I was after are no longer available I'm gunna save up a few quid and get a carbon bonnet, f**k it, mines is starting to get a tiny bubble at the corner so I'd rather put a bit of extra cash in and get a carbon one than get it sprayed

So not long ago I passed my trade test and decided to treat the clio as these came up at a good price. Ended up with a set of bc racing br series coilovers with custom spring rates, 11kg front and 8kg rear. It's going to be stiff as f**k. I also collected a rear beam and going to get rear hub setups tomorrow, finally be able to get that pressed on!

Also update eon the carbon bonnet, I'm having an absolute nightmare finding one, there's a couple of websites but there are no reviews or anything so I've been hesitant

Did some little bits today, some progress on the replacement rear beam, almost finished spraying it, got the bushes out with some super high tech home made tools [emoji23], took the clear plex windscreen film off as its totaly ruined and scratched, the difference is rediculous, and got my heel toe pedal on that's sat for god knows how long! Finish painting the rear beam tomorrow, ordering shims and sorting black powerflex bushes tonight hopefully!
Getting there!

Bc's on and the car drives amazingly they're far better than cooksports and cup shocks, not as stiff as I'd thought with the spring rates, new carbon door protectors aswell, quite like them!

Had an absolutely amazing time at csf this weekend, will gather some pictures here as they surface but the car did tremendously well, it felt like all the cash I've been sinking into it was all justified [emoji23] only issue I had was overheating brakes but he 1144s are only good road pads so that's kind of a given, but It looked and felt brilliant, I'm so pleased I just ordered a new steering wheel ?‍♂️, met loads of good folk this year, got some good feedback and compliments on the car and had the best time yet, on to 2019 for 5 in a row!

Well after me being in a great place with the clio and deciding all the mods are done with, I done a 500 mile round trip with a buddy today to pick up a glorious carbon bonnet!! So fuckin pleased it's been a mission trying to get one, a friend tagged me in a post and I got lucky, also I ordered a brand new momo team 280 after being fucked about with off a Facebook seller for 7 weeks, itl be on as soon as I get my alignment sorted from csf [emoji2369] [emoji23] looks amazin with the bracket. Picking up an upper dash this week to get my gloss black centre trim fitted to aswell

Your going to have more carbon than black soon!

Car looks great mate.
Cheers man, I'm done now though, no more! [emoji23] I love how from a distance the carbon bonnet just looks black, I think if all the carbon was more obvious it'd be a bit tacky, works well with black!

Yeah it does. It's quite subtle unless you get it in the right light.
Sometimes it looks a lighter grey, others it's just so shiney you can't tell, and then when you're up close it's glorious, we'll chuffed, but it's all coming to an end, Jo more new parts till the mx5 is boosted [emoji23]

However I'm booked into stainless creations next Saturday for them to weld a new manifold flange on as mines is almost gone, they're also gunna have a look at making the resonated Decat fit too

Then hopefully the weekend after I'll get booked into dreadnought, alignment done and then I can get the steering wheel fitted and the clio finished off!

Had the clio in at stainless creations, manifold flans chopped and replaced with a new one, Decat chopped to fit aswell, sounds excellent and it feels really good, no flstspot etc so it must do well with the mal, feels like it picks up easier from very low revs

Did they struggle to weld the mani flange in place or wasn't it too bad? Looking to have the same done on mine but with a vband flange.

Has the little silencer helped with motorway drone?

I had a normal Decat on previously and it was loud as f**k inside constantly, now the magic revs for noise inside is 4k but normal driving around is absolutely fine, loving it so far, map seems to enjoy it so all is well

He said the hardest part was getting the new flange onto it as there wasn't much length on it to play with but they were only at it for an hour and then another half hour or so chopping the Decat and welding a sleeve onto it, I didn't want to lose the flange since its the only flexi bit it's got and it's on polybushed hangers, dunno if that'd really be a problem but a didn't want to find out [emoji23]

Sounds good! Mines the same running a decat but it's blowing pretty bad which is giving me a drone.

I'm having that a solid joint then just adding a flexi on after on the 'decat' section as mines also solid bushes everywhere haha.

Cars looking good mate!
