engine swop

after blowing my 182 up at RScombe on the 30th june anyone there see it or got pics or videos

ive just bought a 172 engine to replace the 182 im guessing its a direct fit but ive heard the 182 inlet wont fit i have the rs stamped inlet so ideally ill like to use it any help pls


also im going to strip the old engine and see if it worth rebulding

Just fit the exhaust manifold, top breather and inlet from the 182 to the new engine.

You could port match the 172 inlet yourself? A drill and a die grinding bit whats the worst that could happen.

can be modified to make it fit.
