Stone chips to 12 month old paintwork

  Clio
Hi Guys

I had the bumper and bonnet painted last summer and the car has collected quite a few visible stone chips. The bumper and bonnet were painted using the non-baked method (I'm not sure how it works mind). Is this type of paint a lot softer than the baked paint?

I ask as I will eventually replace the bonnet as corrosion has come back again where I had cleaned it and treated it before getting it painted, and the bumper has a few marks on it following a small bump earlier this year.

Thanks

Yeah ideally you want to let the car sit for awhile in that instance. Mine was sat in a dehumidified lockup throughout the whole of winter. Very hard to mark it, even through general washing.
