I can't be arsed with waxes anymore. I live by a farm. I need something hardy.

I've been using this AutoAllure rapidcoat and its really good. Surprised by its protection and longevity.

What's a good easy Spray Sealant with bulletproof protection?

It's the ease of use!

Carpro reload is very good. Even hydro2 everytime you wash works.

Sonax bsd is actually really really good but needs mixed with a QD to make it nice to use.

Polishing... Doing the drivers door today and found the rear half of the door comes out nice and clear, the front half is still a tad hazy.

I've used yellow hex with ultimate compound, 6 - 8 passes. Then Menzerna sf3500 on a green hex pad for another 6-8 passes.

I am pretty sure the cars had paint on the front end in the past, is this the most likely cause of the difference? Should I compound and polish again to see if it comes up better 2nd time round?

I’d say so yeah, it’s probably been blended at some point.

I bought a spare wheel recently - a 17" 200 cup speedline wheel in satin black. The inside of the wheel is heavily caked in brake dust. Its the worst ive seen and im having massive issues in shifting it. Ive tried neat wonder wheels , iron off and its only improving it slightly. Is there any wheel acids I can use to speed things up. Does claying heavy brake dust work?

Daniel told me to buy some acid stuff from eBay but I can’t find it on there. I’ve got 5 litres of the stuff so can send you some if you’re struggling mate.

Have you tried any neat thinners? That should sort it out

What iron remover we using?

Bilt Hamber was voted the best in a video I watched on YouTube. Anyone tried anything else and been impressed? Everyone loves an under dog lol. And cheaper??

A lot are similar these days. Autosmarts one isn't too bad but nothing beats Iron X still and I've used them all. We even did a test.

Autosmart tardis? Yeah have used that. It’s cheaper but not as good. Tried red 7 again today, that was ok.

Bilt Hamber’s my go to at work. Tried a few but always come back to it. Britemax Iron Max also worth a look - doesn’t smell anywhere near as nasty and pretty effective too.

I’ve always used iron-x and it does exactly what it says ok the bottle so I’ve never even looked at trying something else!

Gus my man, I use this (horrible horrible stuff!) to get caked brake dust off. I wouldn’t use it regularly and I only use it to get my wheels clean and then because I stay on top of them, I never need it again.
Don’t do it on your mums finest block paving either, it has a habit of burning the floor...
but it’s epic at removing the most stubborn of brake dust!

Can anyone recommend window cleaner that doesn't smear to f**k? Tried Autoglym, Meguiars and another one today (forget the name) all terrible.

Kranzle foam lance. Best place?. Think kranzle is £25 delivered.

Snow foam?. Let it snow. Which one, and decent too.

Try a new waffle weave MF before a new glass cleaner. I've used AG and megs glass cleaners around the house to use them up and not find them smear. If you do change give carpro eraser instead.
