I also fitted smart plugs so I can control the heaters from my phone so I can pre-warm the garage before working on it during colder months.

Coming on really well. If you have a sec can you give me a link to the machine polisher holder and the lights on the walls.
Really impressed though!!

I like the fact you've got decent brickwork inside your garage
I was just thinking the same thing! My rear garage wall is falling down.

Really like the look of what you're doing, especially how everything is wired so nicely. I'll be doing something similar but on a narrower scale! Do you remember what lumen the lights are or have a link to them?

Some good progress!

This thread made me pissed off at the state of my garage so I've started tidying up the junk that's accumulated over the past few months lol.
Me too, mine needs some serious work, great to get tips and see what fellow forum members have done - saves some research too [emoji6]

Looking great.

When the little one comes it’ll be full of crap again though. Trust me.

Hahaha  no doubt!

I have so many spare parts for the cup I am waiting for nicer weather and then I planned to photograph them all and try and sell as a job lot to someone to clear a lot of extra space.

Makes me want to fit a few more strip lights in my garage.

How much power do the ones you've got/you're having fitted use? With them being LED, I assume not a lot?

Awesome work! So clean, and like Jonnio said, I'm off to clean up my garage haha.
Have you thought about putting some foam strips down the brick pillars that stick out? As a precaution for the unlikely event a door were to swing open into them?

Another idea... use your spare floor tiles for the walls where the doors will open, or alternatively I used to off cuts of new thick carpet !

I like the floor... mine has just been built and I planned to paint the floor but no matter what paint will always come off eventually :(

Where did you get your floor tiles, are they just thick rubber ones? Choice of colours etc?

Bloody hell, makes my garage seem a right tip. I did paint the floor last summer but it's ended up filthy! The desk is going this weekend and i'm buying a set of shelves for all the cleaning products / renault parts i've got lying around!

Like the whiteboard idea and lol at the engine stand.. reminds me of my other rented garage.

@cstarby I've just remembered why I didn't go for your floor tiles... how does it deal with jacking cars up and axel stands etc? Would hate to leave a car on stands long term and the floor to be ruined after.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

I literally havent a clue but I would imagine not too much.

I have but couldnt find anything perfect at the local stores. The ones they have are too cheap looking if that makes sense so the search continues but I do have some foam tiles if necessary.

Thought about that bud but they are hard plastic not rubber so far too hard. I got them from Duramat.
