Gear change clicking

  2011 Clio 200 AG
Hey guys
For a while now when in neutral if I move the gear stick from left to right I hear a load clicking noise.
Within the last week it has become harder to select some gears. It seems to get better as gearbox warms up but is still a pain when cold.
Gear oil was changer with elf stuff about 5k miles ago and gear changes have felt great up until recently.

Any ideas?
Cheers guys

Okay so the click that occurs when moving the gear stick left and right in neutral has stopped.... but gearbox is still still quite notchy when selecting 2nd 4th of 6th.
im going to try bleed the clutch and check linkage alignment when the weather is a bit better. see if that helps
if the clicking returns ill take a vid and post it up here.
thanks guys

So today I pulled out the battery and induction kit and had a look at the linkages turns out an aircon pipe was catching on the linkage causing it to be hard to select some gears. So that’s sorted however the clicking sound is still there.
I’ve checked all around the gear linkages and can’t see what could be causing it.
I also checked under the gator and saw nothing unusual.
I have a video of it I’ll upload it when I get a chance
