Mike Brewer strikes again

  FN2 Type R +MK6 Golf
Yep just shows you @R3k1355 .
I would have loved top gear if the line up was Clarkson, Harris and Tiff and Plato.
That would have been the best Top Gear ever.

What I don't understand is Ed saying that they're cutting down on the car work when they seemed to spend more time on it?

I agree, there wasn't that much of mikes 'wheeler dealering' in this episode. Maybe it's to lull us into a false sense of security for the rest of the series.

Episode 2 on the Supra is fantastic!! I really enjoyed watching it (online) I'd easily give that episode 10/10 - Ant's in it a lot of the time which is good, I really like him. Mike's up to his usual job of getting bits etc.

Watched both episodes over the weekend, think Ant is pretty decent to be fair, skipped through the buying and selling bits at the end as I really dont give a toss about that. Think it is dumbed down a bit for the American audience, every bit seems to be a 'from scratch' as if the viewer has no clue whatsoever how a turbo/headgasket works (!).

Will keep watching if the cars are of interest.

  A terrible one
Both episodes have been really good. I like the cars they've chosen so far, hopefully it will continue in the same vein...albeit, the supra didn't need much work in the scheme of things. Wonder if they will do the Ed classic of painting things himself with Halfords rattle cans?!

Ive watched the first two now. I like Ant, seems to be quite a bit of him aswell so far, and theyve got rid of wasting time looking for the 'right' car.

@gally please tell me you’ve seen the mustang episode. They get a proffesional detailed to resurrect orange peel’d Scratched black paint.

No PDR, doesn’t contaminate properly, starts with 1000grit by DA, finishes with single stage polish and leaves buffer trails/sanding marks

I can just imagine people having a go themselves after watching it lol

Oh dear... I haven't seen it because I can't actually watch him. Link to the episode or name? I'll find it on catch up?

It's American now, so they don't seem to care about us. That's why I've been watching it online. All episodes are on the link I posted up a couple of weeks ago.

Mustang episode was pretty decent but this is not Wheeler Dealers anymore, money seems to be no object, equipment and budget is unrelateable to the home mechanic which is what kept me interested in the UK eps (Not the later ones). Shame! No interest in the other cars lined up!
