Wolfenstein - The New order

  Turbo'd MX-5 MK4
Yes, its not a full game, but I bet it's still miles better than plenty of full games that are coming out.

I'm quite liking the look of the new game (which has been confirmed as a standalone title, although not sure on the size of the singleplayer-only campaign). New weapons, game mechanics. I'd be happy with much of the same to be honest.

I got my copy of wolfenstein old blood on a friday and then finished it on the saturday. Glad I rent games and am now waiting for them to send me witcher 3 :)

Picked up The New Order due to the positive comments in this thread.
Put it straight on Uber difficulty. Only done the first part of the game, up to where you wake up in the hospital. Seems a bit easy so far, although im sure that will change. Almost got all the stealth perks already.
So far so good. Looking forward to progressing.

Managed to get another session of the New Order in yesterday. Played up to just after the bit where you get the laser cutter and jump down onto the roof of the truck to get taken to the prison.

I've found myself getting killed on purpose just to up the kills towards the perks. Such as stealth kills with the trowing knife. Kill a couple of people, then get killed, kill the same couple of people again, then get killed etc as it doesn't reset the kill count when you die. Boosting FTW :)

Still not found it overly challenging so far, got past the bit were you first meet the two big robot things on my second attempt.

New Order has a habit of spiking the difficulty. Numerous seriously irritating sections.

Lol - I just got annoyed with the section where you escape the jail and have to shut-down the electric sentries in turn. I hate crappy sections in games where you're so under-powered (I have a broken pipe and FA else) - and you HAVE to do it the game wants you to do it.

Slightest noise and those guard dogs wake up too. A lot more frustrating than fun.

And whats with actually having to press a key to pickup ammo/items again? I thought this was an oversight on the previous Wolf game. Looks like the devs actually programmed that feature into the game? Great move guys - just what you want in the middle of a firefight - to constantly be mashing the 'E' key.

Resurecting an old thread but I've started playing this again, good fun shootin' stabbin' killin' Nazis. More so with the new one on the horizon seems fitting to get back into the story. Didn't realize I'd not finished the game last time round and I was 1 chapter off the end so finished it and started again. I've been making sure I collect all the extras and stealth my way through it unlike last time were I just ploughed through the game with zero f***s.

Ironically, I finished this about a fortnight ago. The ending's not particularly tricky - assuming you haven't got the difficulty on insanely high.

As mentioned earlier, the fact that you have to press a key/button to pick up ammo or armour is infuriating - especially when things get really busy. But it's got a good feel to the game and certainly worth playing through. I quite like replaying sections of it through the Challenges Mode.

I've also got the serial key for Wolfenstein II : The New Colossus assigned to my Steam account. From the trailers, it looks pretty good!

I'm very late to the party, and picked up the 'two pack' last week for £20 on the One

It's bloody awesome! cracking story, and just a decent, solid shooter. Completed the New Order yesterday, and made a start on The Old Blood. It's quite smart getting to see the differences in the Nazi tech between the two games, like the super soldiers for example.

I'm definitely picking up the New Colossus!

  A SHED!
Well swapped Evil within 2. For this. Don't know if it's because i'm playing it off the back of a brilliant game but wolfenstein. 2 seems abit boring. Story line is abit shitty. Mehr will keep at it tomorrow.
