Steering wheel boss.

  PH1 V6
Trying to find a steering wheel boss to fit a Sparco wheel and not having much luck!

Anyone aware if it's just a std Clio size?

Car is a 2002 PH1 so would one to fit a 2002 Clio fit or is the V6 one different?

Many thanks.

Is the sparco not 70 mm pcd as standard?
No idea mate, it's down with Jack@Royal.

I looking more to would a 2002 Clio boss fit a 2002 V6 steering column.

I can't see why it shouldn't, spoken to a few suppliers but no one gives a definitive answer if the boss is V6 specific or if a 2002 Clio one would fit.

Omp list 2 boss kits to fit your car, which is super helpful them....

I had a right ball ache getting a boss for the megane. The one that actually fits my car is listed as a mk 3 RS Clio, 197/200. Go figure!

Omp and momo do have compatibility charts showing what fits what car but not got time to look for you at the moment.

Tbh if the steering wheel for a ph 1 172 is the same as the ph 1 v6 there's your answer.

I worked out for mine that the 197 steering wheel is a straight swap on the megane 225s, so with that in mind a 197 boss kit must fit as the splines will be the same and sure enough I was correct.

If you apply the same methodology to yours then it should be easy enough to work backwards.

If you can avoid it don't get one from demon tweeks as they ballsed mine right up. Listed a momo one that would fit when in fact momo don't even make one for the megane 225!!

Alot of people use jjc race and rally, I did. Yb racing too are good I've heard.
