They interviewed one of the designers for the show didn't they? The third spoiler was considered for the production car, but was canned. I posted on Twitter that it looked awful and Ant Anstead replied saying I should watch it before I criticise lol

Yeah. Was surprised he replied to be honest, but he seems to engage with people quite a lot. Brewer seems to spend most of his time getting attacked lol

That was an OK watch.
But the 3rd wing because an original designer said it was planned would have made the car look spazzy. Ant's addition fitted horribly.
Cars like this should be absolutely original and mint. Not this level of daftness. (Oh and "Emile" didn't flog it to them in the first place - he's just paid a small premium for the tidy up and RS'tard 3rd wing.)

My wife would rather watch Ceefax on repeat than put up with him for 5 minutes on the TV. It's the main reason why we don't watch WD - one of the few people I think she would ever harm if she came into swiping distance of him!

I didn't want to like the car after looking at the pic . But actually liked it with the 3rd wing . I didn't want to like the New show either , as much as I like watching things I've seen with Ant in it . But I liked the show too . It did seem weird not seeing Edd and I feel sorry for him as he obviously left the show reluctantly , something I think Mike Brewer could have stopped if he'd really wanted to . He was probably offered too much $$$ . Edd will survive I'm sure , he was around well before WD's doing his wacky engineering .

It's an American show now. It's based in the US, so they don't care about us anymore. I enjoyed Ant's enthusiasm, but it's typical of this sort of show now, more so than it's ever been. Endless repetition is the order of the day sadly.

While I see your point, there is a certain oddness in the way that they go on about originality in one episode, then throw modifications at a car in another. Saying that, the sale thing was a bit of a farce anyway, with it going back to the original owner.
Morettes on an Escort Cosworth isn't that bad.
Top Gear went down the toilet?
Grand Tour is ok, but only on Amazon.
Fast N Loud lost Kaufman, and wasn't to everyone's taste anyway.
