Hi peeps , I joined up as I'm after a little info! I'm looking to build a toy over the winter!

I'm looking to build a boosted 1*2 not sure which route to go down yet which is why I have joined.

I've had loads of hot hatches in the past mainly escort rs turbos,golf,s gti6 etc etc

I currently have a mk4 R32 and a A1 s line

Budget of 6k. Also I had a Clio 1.2 extreme from new on a 2005 which I sold a few months ago with an astonishing 170k miles!!

I was thinking buy a tidy car for around 2 k then convert myself with a budget of 4ish to turbo

Welcome. Sounds like a good plan. Engine Dynamics do a kit you can buy within budget. There is a manual for it on their site I think so you can see what it involves.

Yeah thanks Ive been looking at kits, I will be doing the conversion myself . the only thing that bugs me abit is I no eventually I will want to go low comp and up the boost!

Also ideally would need a lsd in time.


Is the 225 swap worth considering or is it mega money?
