my newly bought Clio died on me :( whelp!

  Renault Clio 99
Hello and god day all hope you guys have a nice weekend, sadly am must make you read my cry off help.
i did the control after i bought my car and it vent trough with only minor things like a leak in the front and a brake lay-on somewhat.
after that i did drive some more like 1 10 mile long then 2 8 miles onces.

and last time i was there the rubberband for the dynamo fell off so had too reatteched, thats after i got help too repower it via the cables, so then it worked for a bit then it fell off again but we didnt notice, all in all we got home after we got help from some good strangers put it on place and drove carefully. at home we did see that battery had too get recharged right it was black and said it had to be lighting green, day after it then put in back in - - - - - - car refuses too start..! like WUT.
so we had alook ofc no clue, in heinsight the "warning" red light in the dash blinked very fast and said startsafety kicks in or its something with that atleast. i asked around got a clue its was garantueed the gas pump? then how did we continue driving home after we fixed the belt? so we was first thinking something with the battery that is faulty?

anyone got a clue what an be wrong? i even changed a little bit in the amper box that was broken.

Sorry for my ignorance in understanding what you're trying to say.. but I don't really understand what the issue is.

When you try and start the car, what happens exactly? Can you hear the fuel pump priming? Can you hear the engine trying to tick/turn over? What is the red 'dot' light on the dashboard (inbetween the clocks) doing when you put the ignition on? Is it staying a solid red colour or is it blinking/flashing?

Also, I can't work this part out - are you saying the auxiliary belt came off? If so, it could have either taken the timing belt with it which would be goodnight for that engine.. or if the auxiliary belt has come off, it means the alternator hasn't been working meaning you've drained the battery. Does the dash light up with ignition?

yeah its blinking and showing a yellow [ ~] , the car have power and when trying to turn on it kicks too life then suddenly dies and cant start when trying again. No no the big belt is on. nothing is missing besides old wiring looks alittle rusty but cars ok.

The orange ~ squiggle in the middle is ignition system fault. So this could be anything from coil pack, HT leads, spark plugs, fuel pump, injectors etc.

This one?

It sounds like the the battery to me. You say the " green indicator " on the battery was black ? You recharged it but but still nothing ? The green indicator is only showing that , that 1 cell is ok so isn't the best way to tell if the battery is in good / bad condition . The battery needs to be around 12.6volts , use a mutlimeter to test it or borrow a good working battery if you can . When my battery died , I had my red immobiliser light flashing repeatedly .

yepp tried now and nothing changes, first key gives equal results as the 2nd yes i landed on Immobiliser issue at first. but i dont understand why taking out the battery too charge it will make the Immobiliser issue kick in .. it almost started on first try so no fuel?but then again 2nd time around its seems like its doesnt spark too life .

can this be an issue ?
"Hey,

I had a problem with the car turning over but just not firing up.

So what I did was do some research and found out about the 'TDC sensor'. This thing tells the car when to let fuel into the system, thus letting it start.

I google imaged it to see what I was looking for, found it in the engine, unscrewed the two bolts holding it in, lifted it out and there was a piece of exposed magnet that was covered in crap. Clean this little bit, sand it down a bit to expose some fresh metal and put it all back. My car started straight away!!

You can find the sensor on the passenger side about 6 inches down from the top of the block. It's a fiddly job but once you know what it looks like, you'll find it!
For the record, this was on a R reg 1998 clio, old model."
