Are the scores getting carried over when playing premium maps?. I'm getting some decent scores and not much is happening with my stats.

When playing with a friend that has premium you don't get anything. Tempted to say whatever the new thing is is the same.

Yep no extra stats for those who haven't got Premium pass unfortunately.

Quite like the new map, just like Amiens you can get loads of easy kills using anti-tank mines.

Operations on fort de vaux is heaven for a couple of noob tactics. Airburst mortar on the outside sectors and gas grenades chucked down busy corridors inside. Love it

Should be able to, not sure if it's a special event or all the time though.

Yeah after a google anyone with premium can have mates play with premium enabled. Will have a mooch later on.

Bloody score didn't get carried over though

Wasn't going to buy it through the fact it should be free, maybe. But I liked the maps and the other ones I have obviously played quite a bit.

I had a few hours on it last night, need a load of bayonet kills to unlock a the Martini (I think) sniper now.

Rarely played as scout at the start but now it's level is double the other classes.

Had an hour on operations last night.
One of the weekly medals you have to play as each basic class for 10 minutes. Made me realise how much I hated the medic and assault class.
Think I'll stick to support.

I have no idea how I’ve got it! I seem to always get thrown on to the losing side, I would imagine that it’s through playing the objective (I tend to only play Operations or Conquest) and Resupplying / Healing whenever I’m Medic / Support, although the majority of the time I play as Scout, so that might be bullshit...

Well it seemed to work. Had a belter of a game on Suez Operations.
Sat in the AA gun, must have taken 10-15 planes out before they cottoned on and bombed me. I did manage to leave the gun a few times and kill a few that were trying to sneak up on me.

Once the gun got destroyed though, my game went to s**t.
Ended up in the Dreadnaught but the gun I started in (not sure what it was) was bloody useless due to where the ship was. Only reached into our base and nowhere near the capture points. Eventually swapped and got into another AA gun, didn't last as long in that though before getting torpedoed.

They've really fucked the AA guns up.

They used to get destroyed, then re-generate.
Now you've gotta fix it with the spanner, except the f**king thing never works, there's a bug and the gun cannot be repaired.

Now a good pilot can just troll everyone from the air, take out the few AA guns on the map and then spend the rest of the game killing people at will.

Installed this today as it's now part of Origin access, had a very quick go tonight and seems fun

Only managed a couple of kills in the round, haven't played much in the way of fps in recent years so need to get back into it!

Had another update tonight and jumped in a quick conquest on ballroom blitz. Martini Henry the gun of lol/choice. Boom five kills in a row, hero status achieved. Then.

Although I did okay the hit detection seemed well off, very frustrating. Don't know if I was tired or what but noticed the ping on the board was all over the shop. Most games I seem to play in are less than say 70, mines normally around the 30 ish mark.

And then there's picking an operation. I go into operation and it just puts me in whatever, I can't choose. I've noticed this before. Again annoying. Will I be on later, course I will lol.

Not keen on the new snow levels.
Only had half a round of rush (we were getting absolutely battered when I joined, I didn't contribute much tbh) and a round of conquest.
Conquest was super laggy. Jumped into a bomber and it was all over the place. Couldn't turn it properly and ended up not making it out of the "no go" zone in time. In fact, if I'd have had another 30 seconds, I doubt I'd have made it.

Had a go on Conquest last night, it's a good laugh.
Watch out for snipers on the hill in the middle, the new Russian one is a right c**t to spot sometimes.

I was told last week that a few of the newer FPS games use a 'voting technique' in terms of whether your shot hits and does damage. It takes an average from 4-5 sessions of other players that were near to the shot in question - and then calculates the likelihood of the shot doing well.

If this is true, it explains the woeful hit detection on BF1 and to a lesser extent, SW:BF. In over fifteen years, BF1 represents the worst, most random and illogical hit detection that I've seen in an online FPS. To such an extent that I no longer play it.

I'd rather have the old days of s**t broadband being the main reason for your poor performance - at least that made sense. Holding essentially a quorum service over whether that target 6ft in front of you, received a shotgun blast to the face or not - is as pointless as it is frustrating.
