200 decals and spoiler

  200
Hi guys, I can't fight the urge to get another Clio so i'm going for the Storm Grey 200. Only problem is I'm struggling to find one with Recaro's but without the spoiler. I read somewhere the spoiler leaves holes, is this true and is there no fix for it? The one im seeing also has decals, will this leave differences in the paintwork if i remove them?

Thanks

Firstly, storm grey is an awesome colour and my only other option after an Alien Green (which I got).

So, yes the cup spoiler does leave 4 holes. But a nice compromise spoiler is a sprint spoiler that will cover the holes up.

As for the decals, it depends how long they have been on but I would imagine storm grey doesn't fade too much. What decals are they as there not fitted as standard? Is it the Storm grey on eBay at the moment? If it is, it looks nice but quite expensive as it doesn't have Recaros.

@Bazz

Yes that is a nice car and good price.

Sprint spoilers are a brilliant compromise - not too big but finish the boot off just right - I have just got hold off one for AG but not cheap!!!

@mossyv6 That spoiler looks so much better and far less chav :smirk: I think I'm going to be a bit more patient and wait for the right one for me know instead of having to change things on it from day 1.

With regards to the decals.
If you get some tar remover, any brand but we use autoglym at work. Fetches any residue left over.
I also stock a vinyl remover fluid which softens the vinyl before removing.

I like the car as it is, the cup spoiler etc is right for the car imo, just budget for new tyres and a gearbox. Most have been changed by 30k miles but it is the most likely reason to PX or sell other than a front end. I had a 11 plate but nimbus if you need any advice

The one you have linked to will need the belts changing if they haven't already been done. It's a 6 year interval on the late 197's and all 200's. That one will be 6 years old in Jan 2017 (although that's when it was registered, it could have been built anytime before that I suppose).

That is very nice @-speedfreak- I've searched hard but cant find one, the 1 i did i couldn't get over the decals and spoiler. And 2 more have just been sold!! Should of split with my misses a week earlier and i would of been sorted lol

I've ended up going for the white one from KTR, picking it up Saturday. This also has a spoiler but I'm thinking it'll be easier to get a white sprint spoiler than a storm grey one.

  Clio 200...
Where can I pick up a Sprint spoiler? I really like the look and prefer them I think to the spoiler-less rear!
