I just reset swift key and noticed the keyboard layout changed.

Facebook just pushed an update and now the fucker opens and then closes straight away. Seems to be affecting lots of different phones (Samsung etc).

I was close to 3 million 2 weeks ago, I've just looked and I am now around the 100,000 mark. They must be shipping them out pretty quickly now!

Nice one, I think the phone is brilliant, my wife absolutely loves hers as well.

Don't suppose any of you "rootees" can try running lightflow but enable root control of the LED and see if it works properly? (i.e the various different flash rates work etc).

I might be tempted to unlock and root.

Anyone got instructions on where/what to download and how to root the device? (yeah, I know I'll lose what I've installed...)

Slightly nervous of following instructions on the OnePlus forums incase they were written by a moron!

Things to look out for? Is it true that if the bootloader locks again then it hardbricks the device? Can it be recovered through the Qualcomm recovery? Any other risks?

One on the forum is totally genuine and done it a few times to double check.

Boot into TWRP

Flash the full OxygenOS 2.0.2 zip:
OnePlus2Oxygen_14_OTA_006_all_1508211811.zip

Flash the 2.0.2 > 2.1 OTA update zip:
OnePlus2Oxygen_14_OTA_006-008_patch_1509191929.zip

Flash SuperSU
UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip

Reboot system "Swipe to disable" NOT "Not disable"

Its easy to do, but rooting/unlocking will wipe everything you have on there atm, so backup!

How did you get amplify to work, says I need xposed and when i go to xposed it says that it's not compatible with my architecture and may cause the device to stop functioning!

Guess I need a different installer/build for it.

Get greenify too if you haven't already and enable the experimental features

that made the most difference for me.

Yeah, but you have a +1 already, so that immediately makes you a higher priority for an invite.

Anybody who doesn't have a plus one and is waiting for an invite from the reservation list is going to be waiting a long time, hence getting on the forum and getting a shareable!

@Addicted Pretty much same results with battery life as you by just rooting and installing greenify and amplify.

Only problem now is that because the phone is so good when the screen is off, it makes it look super bad when you actually use it! lol

Told ya, works well

Just a shame my screen on time is so s**t. I can burn through 10% in about 10 minutes in high performance tasks - rediculous imo. Hoping the next update brings some kernel improvements.

You wern't joking, got greenify running but amplify showed me what was killing the battery, tweaked that out and bingo.

I don't really do anything "tasking" on the phone anyway, browsing, calls, texts, facebook etc. My brightness is normally set pretty low as well.

Gonna root the wifes phone as well now, she was amazed at the battery life on it already! lol
