I use the rear ones, obviously not while driving. Obviously the only thing the designers had in France at the time were 330ml cans!

The Ph.2 holders are so rubbish.

Can't even get a small take-out coffee in them without chucking half of it in a footwell or all over the shift-gaiter.

Some cars have moulded cup-holders inside the glove box, but they act more like a tray than a holder, not ideal if you like.....steering. at all.

It'd look gash but I suppose the #1 alternative is a vent-mounted holder, the kind of thing you get from a garage for a fiver if you buy fuel. The best bit of them being that they are removeable

A guy on Rallye Register years ago managed to retrofit an audi cup holder mech into his dash..

No reason something similar couldn't be done on a Clio somewhere.

With working regular nights I sometimes like to take an energy drink and drink it on the way to work if I havnt had enough kip, I have to take a straw tho to drink the rest out of my dash.

That's a decent job on the Pug! I was thinking along the lines of modding one of the dash strips maybe and fitting something like that Audi one in the video, or perhaps something near the handbrake (behind the plastic cover/surround thing for the mech) as in - in the middle of the rear passengers' footwell on that raised bit.

But I'm useless and need someone else to invent it!

Would be interested in this too.
Nothing fits in the cup holders as they are. Unless you lean them toward the handbrake and end up with it everywhere.

I used to lie the seat back, drop the cup in the rear holder then spring the seat up.

Although you don't have this luxury @jesus

Good luck, cut the left hand dash strip, fibreglass the cup holder to follow the dash strip curve and paint to match.

Then maybe an OEM cup sticker to finish off.
