Wow ..... I cant believe its been almost 3 years since I posted last about my current 172 Cup, purchased the car end of 2013 as I'd always fancied one for some fast road driving and possibly the odd track day. I actually ended up using the car as a daily for 12 months until I bought my 320d...

Fitted them on Thursday last week. It seems like they're sitting up on the dampers rather than the spring.

Hi folks I have fitted a new set of Gaz gold rear dampers with in board Spring and adjustable height. I have adjusted the winder right down however the rear doesn't seem to sit very low, possibly still 10-15mm above rear tyre. Anyone had similar issues or ideas?

I'm still on the hunt for a set of coilovers and had a look at few options but I'm also unsure on spring rates. Very interesting to read about the inboard Spring ratios, I didn't realise that! I will need to consider that when ordering.
