Luckily the rollers were intact. Guy this morning seems to think it's o/s driveshaft spring that's gone, needs it up on the ramp to check though

I've just been up to a gearbox specialist this morning, said it's not gearbox related but driveshaft related instead, kinda glad about that

Yeah it was, was only for about 5-6 days before I realised it wasn't right! This is the thing it could be proper farked and might just be easier to get a second hand one, seen a few around from breakers. One company wanted £800 for a rebuild and fitting

He popped the n/s driveshaft out somehow, put it back in but not tight enough, re filled with oil and it all come back out! Tricky situation because he's a mate, I'm just learning my lesson and staying away from there from now on

Hopefully is a driveshaft to be honest. The box had been run dry for about a week because of some incompetent idiot mechanic! Won't be going back there again! Going to see a gearbox specialist today and see if he can give me a proper diagnosis on it.

Could be, any help is appreciated really Best way to describe it is that it feels like wheel balancing but a lot more violent. Only starts come on about 40 plus, starts off pretty gentle but at 75-80 it's really violent. It doesn't do it all the time either, It's there more often than not...
