    New here, after something green!

Haha, just realise I've mixed the two! I was referring to BD59FUT, which has now been removed and relisted yet again. Keep an eye on the market, there have been a few come up in recent months.

    New here, after something green!

BD59VLG has been on the market progressively getting cheaper for nearly a year. I can't say I've viewed it myself, but the fact it hasn't been snapped up at that price is enough of an indicator to suggest something is seriously amiss. KTEC are known to charge a premium, however from my past...

    Shunting at low rpm/speeds

I remember it doing this when I owned it too, before anybody tampered with the mapping. When at low revs, with the clutch all the way out it would jolt along, I just presumed this was something all 182's did. After my ownership, it had a silly pops and bangs remap added, which was then removed...

Clio 2 roof bars - No longer available?

I had a full Thule set up on my 182 a few years back, they can be picked up on eBay for pretty cheap (I paid £65 all in). The kit was extremely robust and very quick to assemble / disassemble, so I really can't recommend it enough!

    Gearbox question

Hi there buddy. The vehicle itself isn't a factory 'Cup', it's what's known as a full fat version with the cup suspension package. The Cup was a lightweight stripped out model without A/C. In terms of the clutch being heavy, unfortunately that's just a perk of 182 ownership. I owned the very...

    BMW e92 330i

Fingers crossed for you buddy! Start with the dealership, and if no luck, escalate to BMW UK. You could always give BMW Falmouth a call if your local dealership doesn't provide much in the way of help (just pretend you're a Cornish resident looking for future servicing etc) - I honestly...

    BMW e92 330i

I've just located my old correspondence with BMW UK with the UK recall code present and as follows: E92E93 325i/330i N53 Defect Code: 0013050200 Description: Ex Fx N53 N54 ECE: Check injectors and replace if necessary. This is separate to the coil recall which reads the following: E92E93...

    BMW e92 330i

I believe so, there are plenty of threads on Bimmerforum documenting the full details of the recall. I'm absolutely certain the injectors were recalled, as I had the recall notice completed on my BMW online history (version 2's replaced with version 6 IIRC). Ironically though, they're now on...

    BMW e92 330i

Unfortunately this will be a recurrent problem. I replaced all 6 eventually on my 330i E92 (2008 build date), and within 20,000 miles the dreaded cylinder 5 and 6 misfire fault had returned (even with the latest version). Usual symptoms are rough idling for the first few seconds when cold...

    RB 182 w/ buckets - Perranporth, Cornwall

Looked fantastic, definitely made me miss my old RB!

Hello and anyone know this Clio...

Personally I think you've done pretty well for yourself, especially considering it only cost £900. If you're handy with a spanner, it shouldn't be too difficult repairing the odd fault yourself, and if (worst case scenario), the cambelt was to snap, I'm sure you would see some fairly decent...

May have to sell the RB182 :(

Something vaguely along those lines ;)

May have to sell the RB182 :(

I'll attempt to add balance to this argument, as I've owned this very vehicle as a commuter for a little over a year. I did circa 50 miles a day in it during my daily slog, sometimes double that if I was called in again on-call. Both the economy and comfort were unremarkable, with the MPG...
