    Wifi Extender Needed

The new kit Dan. If your using ethernet to link the original modem to the mesh then login to the menu of the modem to switch off the wifi in that. Usually something like 192.168.0.1 for the menu

    Wifi Extender Needed

You create the mesh by connecting the units via ethernet/powerlines the latency and speed is exceptionally good. Not sure about connecting the units wirelessly but I suspect you'd be talking about a haircut on an already huge speed which is rarely used to capacity but I am not an expert. My...

    Wifi Extender Needed

You want a wifi mesh not a wifi extender. We have TP link DECO with all units wired together across the house using powerline adapters. Works a treat.

Help wanted near Crawley please. Clip diagnostic tool maybe?

1 will be an injector, I did a video a while back on this. 2 and 3 would likely be a failed ABS sensor or potentially a crackers ABS ring as noted Check the steering wheel is straight when going stright. Tracking needs to be in order to also not cause ABS/ESP issues

182 Clio with Megane II turbo motor - who's dunnit?

Alex did one at AW motorworks. It was meg bottom end with 1*2 top end to keep the turbo elements more aligned with a standard turbo conversion but with the benefits of a 6 speed LSD.

Graham's summer 172 cup track car

@colesy god that's good to see, it desperately needed that sorted. Sounds better than ever with all the bits you've done. I do miss it that's for sure but glad you're using it and have big plans for it!

    Chris's 172 Cup Turbo

Looking good sir! I didn't have any issues with temp in the turbo. IIRC, had a 10 row oil cooler which wasn't thermostatically controlled, 75 degree stat (although doesn't make difference once up to temp) and direzza rad. Mine had a megane headgasket which is meant to keep cylinder temperatures...

    197 steering wheel in a 182FF

if do you do this you 100% need a 5mm thickness spacer. Looking back I wouldn't do it again, it's way beyond my tolerance for a safe mod these days. 29mm OD 20mm ID IIRC, 5mm thickness minimum. Ideally you would use a proper machined taper to spread the stress.

    Shmee in a Vee

Got to have a great deal of respect for Tim’s reply. Takes a lot of time to read a thread and compose a down to earth post. It’s a shame people put on a different persona when posting on a forum (sure some smart aleck will disagree) but, whatever your view, this is an excellent addition to a...

    Shmee in a Vee

What benefit is there to being this negative, this kind of car culture is toxic. Good on him for being successful enough to be in a position to buy these cars.

    Headlight restoring?

from a while ago now You need to seal them with some kind of ceramic coating or lacquer otherwise restoration will actually worsen the issue long term and after 12 months you'll be back in the same position. I know because I didn't seal mine....

Cruise control on a RS 172 or a dCi (DIY)

the normal position of the switch simply earths one of the ECU pins. If you had access to clip you’d be able to see the status in the functions menu

Cruise control on a RS 172 or a dCi (DIY)

Clear ECU codes too as playing around can trigger a code to stop cruise working
