Anybody had ABS/ESP SERV lights come on after dead battery?

My Clio 182 has done minimum mileage over the past few years before I got it (55 plate 26,000 miles) recently. The battery was either disconnected or had died in it sitting for so long. Exactly the same lights were illuminated on mine and turned out to be the steering angle sensor which sits...

    Interior degradation

I had already looked on their website and didn't see any unfortunately.

    Interior degradation

Sweet, certainly another option anyway. A slight difference in colour maybe, but surely a paint expert will be able to colour match the original so it'll be the same just not sticky.

    Interior degradation

I do t fancy the flocking option due to the car only having 26k on the clock. Non sport might work, I'll look into it. I assumed all models would have the same problems.

    Interior degradation

What would be the best option for me to revamp the door grabs that have degraded over time? I'm a fan of originality so painting them a glossy vibrant colour isn't really an option I don't think. As long as it looks good and will stand some wear and tear then I'm open to suggestions. The...

    Door pins

Nice one chief. Appreciated. Job will get done in about 2/3 weeks when I'm onshore again, I'll update accordingly.

    Door pins

Cheers Dave, appreciated. Any lubricant required? Or something like copper slip for reassembly?

    Door pins

Looking for a wee bit of advice. I've got a replacement rear bumper and passenger door for my 182. Having looked at a few threads on here and tutorials it would seem potentially easy enough if not a bit fiddly. I've done no bodywork in the past but am mechanically/electrically competent...

    Stereo upgrade

Yes, ideally I wanted a screen for the benefit of sat nav use. I managed to get it fitted ok - was a squeeze right enough! but with a bit of perseverance and patience it went in. Not as flush fitting as others maybe but that's the nature of the design. Unfortunately the steering controls...

    Stereo upgrade

Well the gremlins have been ironed out so now it's time to fit the new head unit. Plumped for a Pioneer AVH 7800BT in the end with the flip out screen, will be fitted this morning. Quite a bit of wiring to hideaway and get set up properly.

    Stereo upgrade

Turns out the 15Amp fuse was blown. Changed it out and full functionality of visor lamps, cigar lighter and radio with ignition is all working. Happy days

    Stereo upgrade

Everything is stock, no wiring changes etc. The stereo has definitely been out a few times though judging by the marks on it. I'll get to the bottom of the little niggles that's for sure.

    Stereo upgrade

Well, as suspected it was just a case of removing the speaker connectors and re attaching them more securely before sliding the head unit in carefully to not dislodge them. All speakers fully functional. Now to find out why the stereo doesn't fire up and switch off with the ignition but does...

    New 182 FF owner

Karlos, I too could never lock the car away like that either. It'll do small mileage that's for sure but it will be used.

    Stereo upgrade

Chris, it worked a charm mate. Thanks a lot. Passenger front speaker isn't working though but a good chance that's a wiring issue at rear of head unit. Further invest required...
