Looks familiar this one 😂😎
TBF, the final finish is much better than factory, but I reckon my bill will be less than a 182 was when new, forgetting the fact Tom dropped off an already heavily modified 182 to start with lol.
Had basically this today on a customers ITB’d car. Narrowband lambda - works briefly then freezes. Occasionally playing with settings it would come back to life, then error again.
I wonder if the heater is failing.
I will probably map this car open loop fully - it’s pretty close as is, just...
Andy’s builds are second to none, not going to lie, that’s where my main engine building experience came from, you can’t beat a company that only builds one brand of engine, hence why I’ve carried on with the same.
Are you looking for a drive in, drive out package or pallet an engine to/from...
Well isn’t my ego big.
All I can say is it’s been a pleasure to “build”, knowing we both wanted the same end result, no corners cut & a hopefully reliable Clio to last another 16 years 😳
I’ll see you in 16 years or another 165k miles.
Is nothing special.
It's only 2003 cars that had ESP/bolted diff, then late '03 had cruise too.
Yeah yours is early in the fact they changed some things but not groundbreaking.
Good that it passed the MOT, Did you say you tried another set of clocks? Sounds like its been messed with if the EML doesnt work with ign like it should.
Is this still on a 172 manifold too btw? I have a 172 PMS exhaust for sale, but its to fit a 182 manifold.
If needed, I will pop past...
Hai.
This one certainly isn't worth saving with the drivers side rust on the arch, around filler cap (inside & out), and the previous welding on the inner sill.
I'd love to see behind the N/S skirt, I suspect it'll be all gone.
G has another block anyway (which also needs boring out) so this is no loss. I think I just about talked him into forged Pistons, however it's a long way from his idea of low blow simple build lol
It's night & day honestly. 70/80lbft more! Nearly 90/100 low down! Low boost you don't loose out anywhere, even right low down its a gain.
It'll leave a standard car standing. See if somebody local to you has one you can experience. Well worth it IMO!
