Evening Leader-Connahs Quay

I stumbbled upon this while passing a newsagent when fixing my mates car today and read the front page which headlines:-

POLICE SWOP ON BOY RACERS
This took place on Zone 4 on Deeside Industrial Estate.

Initailly I thought w*****s (Police). But after reading into the story I found out that they shopped 50 drivers for Illegal tyres, window tints and such like aswel as drivers with no insurance!!!

In this case I think the police done the right thing. No wonder all our insurance premiums are so high as if they crashed into others drivers we would have to pay. This just gives modifyers BAD names. What do you lot think???

I'm suprised they didn't do it earlier its a common meeting up spot there. There a good duel carriage way there with rounabouts ever now and again.

They obviously spend all their money on ripspeed mods so can't afford new tyres or insurance.

i work on deeside ind est, as does Cam.

everyone knows the police over the 484 bridge, and pretty stupid if they pass illegally. north wales police have been known to operate in excess of ten cars and bikes at that one turn off.

it's mainly polish and lithuanian drivers they catch.

Yup! i see loads of people (as said, mainly polish and lithuanian) getting stopped throughout the day. I used to work sunday nights and on my way to work i always used to see loads of chavved up saxos/corsas etc. It was bound to happen, glad to see the police doing a good job though!
