Mixing AD08R and AD08RS

Looking to try out some 15”s and have acquired a set of 2118s with AD08Rs, but two are at the limit and need replacing.

Can only seem to be able to find the newer AD08RS now, so I’m thinking new RSs on the front and existing reasonable Rs on the back.

Anyone else done this or is it the talk of a madman, what say you CS?

If anything I would put the new tyres on the back.

Someone on here may have a spare set of ado8r?

Madman??? Far from it IMO, been running ADO8R’s on the front for a while now, left my ns2r’s on the rear in good condition. Car oversteers on wet roundabouts/track. Far more entertaining than chasing tenths. In my opinion of course.

Struggling to find the ad08-rs at the minute. They're available for 4 on Ebay but they're not exactly the £220 fitted price kwik fit had the ad08r tyres at.

  dan's cast offs.
got a feeling the cheap ones were them selling them off before the stupid anti pollution changes come in?

I wouldn't worry about mix and matching the new Vs old.

They're the exact same tread pattern just a higher treadwear I believe.

Ahh I see. This makes sense I guess but they were available very cheap for quite a while.
Might try and get them to price match on themselves from an old invoice once they get them in
