loving my mate 20 pro, the camera is amazing. My wife is a photographer but never really takes her camera out when not working so I end up taking all the snaps on my phone!

What's decent at the moment for like sub 300 quid? I'd replace my OnePlus 3T with a 6 or whatever the newest one is but they are too much cash for me to want to shell out for a phone

Something with a half way decent camera. Android obviously

The two I mentioned 2 posts back are both meant to be good.

So just got my new zte axon m and I have no signal at all.

The phone should be unlocked as that's what the ad said, simcard is inserted and the phone starts up fine.

I'm on ee, anyone got any suggestions?

Glad I didn't get a phone sooner, just seen this for the P20 Pro. Good deal? Think I may order tomorrow.

My iPhone XR should arrive in the next hour or so.. should be a decent upgrade from my 2014 iPhone 6. Managed to get iPhone XR 64GB, 80GB internet, Unlim. calls/texts, SkySports for 24months. £29 upfront, £37 per month.

@leeds2592

£0 upfront and should be cheaper if you click that you're upgrading on Voda.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm on EE currently though and their deals are shite so apparently, even though my contract is up, I've got to give them 30 days notice and then I think I'll just go for the P20 Pro on Voda. Don't think I'll get better than that and with all the data, I'll be able to stream Spotify on the way too and from work without having to worry. Now I just need an android head unit haha.

Just try and haggle. I got done form of customer keeper deal, aparantly. 30 txt picture messages, bt sport etc all free per month.

Only a few quid in the deals but I always try and haggle. At one point I'm pretty sure they forget they had sent me a new p20 as when I rang they still thought I was chatting about my current iPhone 7 lol.

So what's decent in the phone market for ~£200? The Moto G6 is a little long in the tooth now but no sign of a replacement?

Has anyone actually tried the P20 lite and Honor 8x?

Has anyone bought an additional Huawei super charging cable & power adaptor? I'm after one to have at work but most of the ones on amazon have mixed results and I want to make sure I get the correct one.

Want a new phone and want to move away from shite Apple. I need something ‘big’ as I’ve got a 6S+ atm and I won’t go for anything smaller as my hands are like f**king shovels with Cumberland sausages for fingers

Been looking at S8+, S9+, P20 Pro. Anyone recommend any of them?

Cheers

I’m just a bit sceptical about Huawei, although recently they’re not as shady as they have been in the past

Does anyone else buy phones outright? I’ve never had a contract and don’t fancy starting one either, just always had sims and bought my phones

Huawei made the last few Nexus phones. There's nothing to be sceptical about, they're the largest manufacturer of telecommunications equipment in the world, and the 2nd largest manufacturers of phones, behind Samsung, not apple. They know how to make a decent phone

Just work out whatever is cheaper over 2 years. Contract vs phone outright with a sim only deal

My contract is 33 a month

No charge for the phone and lots of internet etc

In two years the phone at a guess will be worth 150 ish?

What's the best sim deal, £20?. How much are the phones, £600? Just a guess on the phone price.

Better to do a contract

I’m sceptical as Huawei make servers too and they’re basically just a really really s**t rip off of Dell and Hp. Never held or seen a Huawei phone, I’ve held and worked with their servers and I wouldn’t touch them with a 10ft barge pole if it came out of my own pocket

I’m always a fan of outright buying, I hate ‘owing’ money and I only pay £12 a month for my sim
