It lasts 18 months though, so it's worth the investment.

I found myself bleeding the Motul 660 after each track day. Typ200 wasn't much different.

£48 the SRF can be had for. The Motul was about £30 for a litre.

I looked at some Endless RF650 which was £80 for a litre [emoji23]

Jeeez![emoji23] I got my Type 200 for £12 a litre which was pretty decent and one of the reasons I bought it

Just dropped it off to the spray shop for the rear quarter to be looked, some scuffs on the bumper and the alloys refurbed.

Then it's going to get detailed, and will look the balls ; )

Finally got it to the spray shop, after a 3 month wait. They're booking for January now, so obviously pretty good!

So nice to see it ding free and the wheels look perfect.

Couple of before and afters.

I want to keep it now! Also been told not to detail it for at least 2/3 weeks, else you can spoil the paint?

Proper pics to be sorted later, after a good wash.

Yeah looks good.

Is true about not applying wax etc, let the paint breathe etc, or something like that.

410 for refurb on all alloys, rear ding which needed dent removal, the front scrape and a buff out and spray on the rear bumper.

45 per alloy, so not too bad for just the spray work tbf.

My recently acquired 172 cup had a standard exhaust with cut bumper, but also included was a slash tip stainless system and a un-cut bumper that needs painting. So today I decided to swap exhaust and fill the cut, I'll use it like this for a while and see how I get on. If I don't like it, then I'll get the bumper tidied up and go back to standard.

Also fitted a new reversing light switch and a DAB stereo as I was having serious Radio 6 Music withdrawl.

  Q7 2018 & 172 Cup.
I sat in mine and made some vroom vroom noises. Oh and I’d bought a Stainless steel tow eye from Kam racing which was too long so I had it cut down and re-threaded. It fits perfectly flush now.

? and today I took off the stainless system, far too much drone for me. Guess I'll be getting the other bumper paint then ...

Oil and filter change as the service light came on.. but stayed on after the light. Pad wear sensor ffs.. what a pointless invention, there is loads of meat on the pads!!

Finally fiddled with the rear light wiring loom as per this guide and replaced the boring old rear light clusters of the PH1 with the facelift ones, Cost about a tenner, job's a good one.

(Do ignore the stickers, personal taste ?)
Tempted to get pressed plates next, not keen on the giant dealer logo.

Got mine back from the garage today, 2 weeks after the steering rack p*ssed itself all over the works car park.
