Yeah no worries give me a shout mate.
Balls forgot to upload the pics lol do it in a bit

Yeah, it's odd with so many people on various forums but the TrackScotland days are beginning to have a good number of clios!
I was in the white 172, what were you driving?
Odd night, fully expected it to be wet, so didnt bring all four dry wheels, just a pair, so was on rainsports on the rear and A048s on the front, and for some reason since last year I'm suffering brake fade, so it was in some amusing shapes in places!

Blue Golf R!

I was expecting a wet night, was close to giving my space away as I had done Monday night in torrential rain and couldn't be bothered with anther so soon but it turned out to be a cracker.

Quality of driving on track is excellent too and everyone's more than happy to let you through if you're on a flying lap.

No brake fade on the Golf although my discs have taken a hammering and the pads ain't much better and they were only on 24 hours lol. Took me a bit of time to find a sweet spot with my new tyres too but all in it was a cracker of a night.

Yeah I like the TS nights, everyone is generally couteous and gives plenty of space and even when they dont, the driving standards are good enough you dont have to worry too much!

Ouch on the disks and pads, what were you running?

Just standard. My dad keeps telling me to get a BBK lol.

Prob whack some new discs on and grab. Set of 2500's.

Fluid is TYP200 so not too bad but with the sticky tyres the brakes take an extra hammering.

If you were out in the last 10 mins you might be here

And Monday's wet night

I was only up for 10 mins then my mate Yumen had a bad crash so we bolted to hospital, he's ok but the car's a write off. Sounded like a good day apart from that though. Really enjoy the track scotland days now

Anyone running on Mon 18th April?

I'll be along for 2nd outing in The Boosted Bean following the winter SORN. Toyed with the idea of track tyres for this one but still feels like winter so I'll stick with the Super Sports for now. Hopefully see a few clios on the track

Anyone out on tomorrow's track night? Weather's looking no bad for it so far, hopefully it stays that way. Still plenty spaces for it too if anyone's interested!

That'd be @Dougie182 I believe!

Who is running the day on thursday? I may be up for going on track as long as the clio gets a clean bill of health today

Seen a fair few clios out tonight on track but not sure if it's anyone on here.

Apart from it being constantly busy, full of red flags, and a few folk who wouldn't let faster cars pass, it was a fairly good night!

Did you see the BMW pile up at scotsman or the scooby prang the evo at the chicane?

I have noticed a vast growth in the number of cars on track the past few trackdays and the days are being booked up ridiculously quick! At the detriment to driving standards from what i have seen aswel

I never saw the incident at Scotsman but I came up over the chicane not long after the scooby had piled into the evo. Think the evo had went sideways somehow and the scooby went into the side of him. Gutting for both drivers, but that was the same evo that refused to let me past, and if it was the same story with the scooby then it was inevitable something was going to happen.

Were you up watching?

I stopped in for a look when passing so watched for a little while. My pet hate is drivers like the evo who are quick on the straights an slow through the corners. Anytime this happens when i'm on track i just back off an give myself space, which is quite often tbh as through the twisties the little clio punches well above its weight. just lacks straight line grunt

Yeah I usually do the same, but it was so busy last night I ended up just taking him under braking into the hairpin at one point lol. Had spent too long getting past cars towards a clear bit of track to back off and give it up. Not something I'd usually do and did expect a talking to for it tbh but there was nothing said. Gets so frustrating when you know you're quicker round a lap but can't touch them on the straights.

sburrell - your car looked quick. I was up last half hour or so to watch my brother in the R26. He caught a little of the aftermath of the scooby / evo prang on video.
