Hers is the one that came with Tiger, 2008?

Been like it for ages and when I researched it the part was like £95 from Mac Warehouse I think. Figured Apple wouldn't care about an out of warranty machine.

Sounds like their customer service is also spot on. Shame more companies couldnt be like this.

I have to say, although Apple sent me a duff MBP, they arranged everything to replace it very quickly. The duff one is being picked up today, and the new one is being delivered today too! Pretty quick considering New Year and bank holiday got in the way.
