Using contracts with an unlocked iphone

Ok so i may be buying my bro's 32gb 3gs. Its locked to o2 but i will unlock it to use with my orange sim which is on contract.

my uestion is, i have unlimited internet on my contract for use with my blackberry, will this apply to be used on the iphone or will i get charged extra?

I think the data plan on a blackberry is slightly different to the normal ones. Not certain though.

But you just need to convert to a 'normal' data plan and then that'll be fine. No extra charges.

ah ok, im hoping that wont trigger a new contract doing that as my current one is up in 3 months.
