Here are a couple from last nights Leeds American Cruise

Mine is obviously the one with the correct turbo cowl hood, the other is my mate Sy's which is much earlier on in the conversion process and needs its ground effects removing and a turbo cowl hood

Very probably was my mate yea. Sadly at the moment mines decided to shake like a dog on idle and stall all the time so he is awaiting my version of bonnie to come and take a look.

Well hopefully my mate is going to come up next weekend and fix him. Got to order 200 quids worth of parts and pat his fuel up here, but what this guy doesn't know about trans ams isn't worth knowing!

Well did a job for a mate last week and the engine misfired so badly he ended up coming home on a Lowloader. Not sure what is wrong with it but he is now dead in the garage awaiting specialist attention

And when he is running right on a run you can get around 25mpg

Well since KITT is off the road I aquire myself a little cheap drift toy. Now I work for Mazda makes sense to have one since I can get parts cheap! Got a company demonstrator too but can't do anything to that ha ha so thought I'd have an mx5 since kitt will be off road for repairs till at least mid august!

Hopefully I've now found a new mechanic. He's worked extensively on the chevy 305 small block so is confident he can get mine running well again. He's very busy though so is going to ring me when he can fit me in. As long as the car is ready and back on the road for knightcon in September that's all that really matters now.

Well kitt is now running again. My mate came up and spent 2 whole days on him. New hood is painted and on now as well so he is looking a lot better now. My other friends coming to cut and polish the paint on Thursday so by the weekend he should be like a shiny penny ha ha.

Sorry but that just looks rubbish, just driving round in circles, if you are going to tear around a car park badly enough to get a section 59 anyway then why not actually donut it or something at least?

Rebecca is lovely she really is she spent all day Saturday with the kitt owners at the show signing autographs and taking pictures and then came for dinner with us all on Saturday night and spent the day with us again on Sunday! Very surreal chilling out in the sun drinking beer with someone I used to watch on TV every Saturday tea time ha ha

Not a lot of updates guys sorry. My beautiful screen accurate switch pod buttons have arrived and are awaiting fitting to my new switch pod arms and shortly my lower console will arrive too. Coming into winter I'm getting fewer opportunities to drive kitt sadly!

Great thread, I was a huge KR fan when I was growing up, I don't think it's aged well at all but the car is still an amazing creation and OP your recreation is just amazing.

I always preferred her over Bonnie. Was gutted when series 3 started without her. Them big glasses never worked on her though.
