Router Help

  Tesla MP3 2021
Is it possible to setup a router (cable D-Link) as a wireless bridge/switch.

The aim is the use the router to connect a couple of devices (TV, Blu Ray Player, Media Player) downstairs via Ethernet which would then connect to my acutal working wireless router upstairs?

Not sure if you need customer firmware to make this work.

Hope this makes sense and is it possible?

Thanks

Depends on the router. Some have the function, some don't.

My Netgear doesn't, but a d-Link I used to have (can't rmmber the model) used to be ablle to do it, because we used it to link or entire network to the neighbours unsecured wifi a few years back while we were waiting for BT to get off their arse and install our ADSL.
