Rear pads/discs for 172

Rear pads are worn out and discs look well worn - not sure itll make it thru MOT visual examination (if I can find an MOT centre who doesnt want my car all day long).

Any view ... assume OEM are good enough, or has anybody got a better suggestion? Plenty of forum discussion of disc/pad choice for fronts but dont recall rears ... Id assumed that (like rear tyres), my rear brakes would last for ever (vs. 32k miles).

Rear discs have got the bearings pressed in right?

Standard fitment rears are fine, they dont really get much abuse (unless you drive your car in rallys!!). Yes, the bearing are pressed in, get new ones, not worth the hastle of removing the old ones, they will probably break anyway if you try!
